Everett Railroad 11: Romping to the Cove: Steam in the Cove March 2023

On March 19, 2023, we visit the Everett Railroad in Holidaysburg PA. On This Outing, we Capture Everett Railroad No 11, their 2-6-0 Mogul Steam Locomotive Operating on the Shortline all the Way to Martinsburg PA. Every Year, Everett runs No.11 to Martinsburg, PA, On the Steam in the Cove Excursion. This was a Great Opportunity to See No.11 Work Hard, and Working Hard she Did! Probably One of the Best Shows I've Seen No.11 Work Hard. It was. aSight to see this Little Steam Locomotive Tackle Grades thru Woods and the Towns to Martinsburg PA Unassisted! Please Enjoy this 1920s Era Steam Locomotive, do what she was Built to do. Enjoy Romping to the Cove with Everett No 11!

Wow! Very cool video of Everett Railroad #11. I am planning on going to the Nevada Northern Railway Museum in Ely, Nevada sometime this month. They have three steam locomotives there. Nevada Northern 93 (A 2-8-0 “Consolidation” built by American Locomotive Company in 1909), Nevada Northern 40 (A 4-6-0 “Ten-Wheeler” built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1910), and Nevada Northern 81 (A 2-8-0 “Consolidation” built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1917). 93 is currently in service, 40 is now undergoing a 1,472 Day Inspection and is expecting to be back in service next year, 81 is the most recently restored back to operation locomotive, since it was restored back to service in September 2021.
