Many bands, when you hear them live, their songs are good but do not sound like their album version. This is amazing how close the live and studio versions sound. That should give you an idea of the talent of this band.
I keep on coming back to this one, a very nostalgic song to me like every summer that passes so quickly you can't fully embrace it...I kind of understand why people here say that i makes them cry. Placebo is just exeptional.

My french is poor at best.... but what I did catch was something about a fantastic emotionally charged performance. Basically he is flinging compliments like mad.

Running Up That Hill and Meds are good songs too.. My top 5 songs: 1- Special Needs 2- Sleeping With Ghosts 3- Without You I'm Nothing 4- Meds 5- Blind & Blind (redux)
up to SWG Placebo hadn't lost its amazing style. Even though SWG was a little more commercial all the songs sounded like Placebo. All that changed when Meds came out and there were only like 2 or 3 that still sounded like them; probably unfinished songs from another era. All the others were lame. And well, this new album is a complete joke. No wonder why Steve Hewitt left the band.
I think Placebo were better at the 90's, like in this video; i loved this performance. Black market music, swg and meds are good albums anyway, but the sound changes too much; and even the style is not the same anymore... They started with a glam style and now, unfortunately the grew up... I still like Placebo but not like when they sang Without you I'm nothing... BRIAN I LOVE YOU...
