They sound perfect, and nearly indiscernible in sounds,, I think I like the 70 better I like the color and the aged look and personally I think I'd prefer the slightly smaller body and lighter weight
They are really good! Maybe the best copy around, I have one and it's sounds better than my Gibson Es-175 and despite the laminated imitation top of a L5 it has a lot of a real L5
Came to hear the difference between two different era's L5s. Instead, heard some guy play rock'n'roll with an overdrive pedal. Just get a Les Paul, man.
Nice work and thanks for sharing valuable L-5 comparisons..... A very coveted Gibson sound.
I love them both. You make anything sound good.
Thank you
What's the name of the tune at the start of the video?
They both sound amazing. But the 70's one has something that makes you go, yup, that's how it's supposed to sound.
Yes!
I prefer how the 2010 sounds

I like the 1970 better..but the other one is really great too. The 1970 I think is English/European Sycamour (ie Maple) the 2010 American Maple.
Would you consider selling the 1970?
nope
Wonderful instruments! I especially like the sound of the older one. It's a bit "spankier".
I have a 1969 L-5 and a 1970 ES-175D. Both sound good but the L-5 From the Kalamazoo Plant sound best to me.
Lovely guitars 🎸 Don’t ever sell them!
Wie gut ist Aria pro 2 kopie? Danke! MFG
Ich habe leider keine Ahnung.

Prefer the 2010 sound.

Wes Montgomery is ROLLING in his grave right now..!!!!!!!!
these are NOT rock n roll guitars.dont beat them up so much.the wood on the newer one is a-1grain pattern.keep in case when not using them.
Scotty Moore invented rockabilly on L-5 in the 50's
