My Tig has always taken more than the dash display has said. Though there are warnings that overfilling can damage the level sensor. I just had mine topped up at VW first service and am showing 6000 miles range again.

I hope you clean the surface, especially on the paint. Adblue is harmfull for paint.

Much easier to pull into the truck refilling part at services and fill it up from the pump, slightly more expensive but no mess.

What a Klutz, buy a non spilling filler dude because that stuff is acidic and will remove the paint, oh, the small hole on the filler cap is to place your Adblue cap in for safe keeping so as to prevent it from falling on the floor and becoming contaminated!!!! Better next time eh?
