- Only truth prevails at the end. There was once a person named Devdatt and out of anger one day, Gautam Buddha uttered bitter and harsh words to him. These words were heard by a few who were against Buddha at that time. Amongst them was Nigantha. He thought that it was very strange because Buddha did not utter bad words to anyone before. He went and asked Buddha why would he utter such words, but Buddha did not reply to the question. Then Niganta went and asked Prince Abhaya to ask Buddha whether he ever uttered harsh and bitter words in his life. If Buddha says yes to this question, then ask him what is then the difference between him and an ordinary man? And if Buddha says no then tell him that he is lying as he indeed said bitter words to Devdatt. Then, Buddha will be in a great trouble.
Prince Abhay asked Gautam Buddha the same question, and Tathagata replied that there was no categorical "yes" or "no" answer to this question. Buddha said when the words are not true (Satya), not factual (Tathya), not beneficial (Hitkari), unpleasant (Apriya), or disagreeable (Asahmat) then, Tathagata never utters such words.

Gurudev, today I got an answer to one of the most important question of my life. A truth got revealed about my father. I took him to be such a great person of high moral and dignity, but he turned out to be a complete opposite. All the lies just washed away and Divine Mother showed me the truth. My father raped a woman 25 years ago, I was a little kid, I knew that something happened as he was suspended from his service, but I didn't know what exactly happened, society started avoiding me, my school life became a hell, nobody wanted to be my friend, and all the way till today I thought it was because of the community difference and I judged all the people to be racists. How wrong I was. My father never admitted it or never told us the truth, because his ego was important than the truth. Some years before my sister and which is his daughter suffered a terrible condition, and my father kept on saying what wrong did he do, yet he did not confess. Till today, his ego has never faded, after years of meditation and sadhana I came so close to the truth, I tried to tell my father where we are going wrong in terms of religious practices, but he tells me that I have ego for correcting him and who am I to question age old practices. The society is full of hypocrisy and hypocritical practices which just strokes the ego of the practitioners and it does nothing besides that, my father has done so many wrong things, and when I helped him realise those things so that he can repent, confess and renounce, but my father took it as an attack on his ego. Today, after 2 decades I got to know the truth and every dots got connected perfectly and all of this has happened because of Sadhana. Now I truly realize the power of Sadhana. Thank you Gurudev, it is all because of you🙏 one day I will meet you.
