Create list of chainage where you want cross section in notepad and save. Then X-section>Section by DTM, Tick on Userchainage. It will ask for chainage file. Then browse the chainage file that you have saved.

I have uploaded a video showing downloading the grid file. In that video I have shown briefly using the grid file. The software is called SW Road. (SW DTM is integrated in this software). when I import points from Excel, x and y are not entered as decimals, but as whole numbers. Digits after the comma are lost.
save the file in csv and try using "Import from file". (May be problem in your excel file. Was the position of imported points correct ?)

Pd= partial distance (Distance from centerline. Negative for left side and positive for right side)

when u download it, you will get a zipped file. unzip it and run it. It is online installer. It will do the rest.
