If you use c-stick for the gyro toss it makes it so that you can keep forawrd momentum while smash tossing the gyro. Smash tossing the gyro does slightly more damage and is faster which lets u make the gyro into side b true, while if you use the a button it does a normal toss which is slower and does less damage
@@CJ-fq5zn you might be doing it too early, its kinda like a pattern when you press it, maybe try to delay the z catch a bit, but not too slow or else theyll be able to get out of it

is there a reason why you would c stick forwards instead of just using A to throw the gyro? (just learning rob so idk lol)
