    I just went in January plan for 10 days now! I got approved on Tuesday and didn’t get my passport until the following tuesday

      @@carstuff001 that happened to me too. I couldn’t register but it fizzed its self after a couple days. As long as you do it before your interview you’re good

      Yikes! So definitely purchase flights that can be changed/refunded!

      Yes definitely because you never know exactly how long it will be. Or you could also just buy a one way ticket

    Hi Fernanda, can you tell me what taxi service you used in El Paso? My husband has to go to Juarez not sure when since we are still in process of saving up money to pay the lawyer so we can get the interview and I want to accompany my husband.

    Hi! Thank you for sharing those tips with us. I have one question, since you stayed at a Hotel while you waited to receive your packet, did they give you the option to pick it up back at the office ? Or did you need to provide a physical address where they would mail that to you ? If staying at a hotel I am wondering what address we would need to give ? Thank You so much for your time and advice! ❤️

      No you can pick it up at the office! That’s what I did.

    Thank you for all the info, super helpful. I have my interview in Cuidad Juarez Dec. 7th, what American Airline credit card do you have? Also I have had Daca since the program came out and I was under 18, did they ask you for “el perdon” I’m not sure what the waiver is called in English.

      Bring all your original paperwork! And bring the tax paperwork of your sponsor if you had one. You’ll do great 👍🏽

      Very basic things like where we’re your born, where do you live, when did you come to America, and since I’m married they asked me if I had kids and how long I’ve been married and where we got married..

    Hi, how and or what service you used to travel from El Paso TX to Cuidad Juárez?

      I got a private taxi from the El Paso Airport that took us all the way over to our hotel in Juarez. Honestly I'm pretty sure it was around $100 but in my opinion it was worth it so I didn't have to do the hassle of taking one uber from El Paso to the border and then another uber from the mexican border to our hotel. American ubers cannot take you across the border they can only drop you off there.

    My case is very similar to yours, I also have daca, my lawyer is telling me I don’t need a police certificate bc I’ve never lived in Mexico before the age of 16, she also said I don’t need one from here, did you need one?

    I’m waiting for my wife’s Appoint F2a in Ciudad Juarez, since July 9,2021 just for the visa interview!! We are approved already, how long they take to schedule an interview?? Thank you

      It took me two years to get an interview. It can take anywhere between a year to two years. Hopefully you guys can get yours soon!!

    Thank you for your videos ive been bench watching all of them haha, One question is how is the crime? I get concern with bringing that much money by myself. Also what phone service did you have you mentioned its spotty at times?

      I had Tmobile. You don’t really have to worry about crime. I didn’t see any when I was there. Just stay on the main roads and don’t travel at night

    My time to send the pardon to the nvc ran out it’s a year, it’s been 17 months now and my lawyer said they send email to reopen my case and nothing happens anybody knows how long it takes ???

      I just heard the answer your second interview was Wednesday and you got visa on Friday - exactly 48 hrs

      I stay at the Maria Bonita. All the hotels on the same street as the immigration office are pretty safe. I’m not sure about the other streets though.

      No you don’t unless they for some reason ask you to but most petitioners do not have to go with their partner

    Did any of you here needed waivers? Did they speak Spanish? I’m petitioning for my my mom and we were told there is a chance she will stay in Mexico for up to 1yr to wait for the waivers to be approved. We are very sad about it. She doesn’t speak English and we are nervous. Am I allowed to go in with her? Thank you

      If it’s a green card interview then she has to go alone and if it’s in Mexico everyone in the consulate speaks Spanish. I don’t know about the waivers though.

      You should just stay in Mexico to get your visa. I put the address of of the CAS which is where you do some of the paperwork in Juarez when you go there.

      Yea we booked it online.. they o Lu told me about my appointment like 2 weeks before it happened so I booked it two weeks in advance

    I repeat do not go this route. Do advance parole and avoid this way at all cost if you can.

      You make the appointment once they give you a date for your interview

      I talk about this at 3:50. You can use your debit card but make sure whatever card you are using doesn’t have foreign transaction fees because that will add up. If it does charge a fee then it might be better to exchange your money for pesos

    Not helpful for me. I already knew all of this.
    I would like a video that talks about what they ask you. How long the appointment is. Or how safe do people feel out there.
    I haven’t been to Mexico since I was a child and I’m terrified to go to Mexico let alone Juarez. As a woman I don’t feel safe going there.
