pro tip Eric. You can buy an extension that clips between your harness and the rope and makes it much easier to clip in. I have shoulder problems too, and this way you can clip in yourself. Love your show!

Perkins, I’m not a builder but I watched the whole builder belt ad just to give a few pennies to the channel. Love the content.
Using the guide on a skill saw was the one thing my teacher in shop class missed in 1986. My grandpa was quick to remedy that when we built his well house. Turns out the guide is only as accurate as the quality of the saw. Pawpaw insisted on Milwaukee because the blade was dead on with the guide.

PS. Probably isn't what I think, and even if it is it wouldn't bother me anyways, but at 16:27 it sure sounds like Jamie says something "unusual" for your crew (at least on camera anyway lol). I can't tell if it is "fun" or something that rhymes with "truck" ??? I must have listened to it 30 times and still can't tell.

Hi Eric, Glad to see safety is important on your sites - in particular harness and rope off on roof pitches. I'm not a safety pro but have spent lots of time in my 35 year career in areas requiring harness lanyard use at elevation and in confined spaces. I noticed the anchor ring location on the back of your harnesses were not high enough. They should be located high up between your shoulder blades to minimize injury in the event of a fall arrest. Might want to ask someone in the Safety business in your area.
Milwauke manufactures tool lanyards for various tool weights and applications including grip tape for tools without lanyard attachment points.
Like your videos! Dave - in Canada

The Perkins Crew are slaying this mega modern home build, it was good to see Max back working with the Perkins crew again.
I've been using a lever-lock tape for 18 months now, and as far as a measuring tape goes its great, I've never had any issues with ithe TM even after dropping it onto hard flooring from height and off a roof its still going strong, I do like the way it locks the tape as you pull out tape no matter what gap you're measuring...
Cheers for the slick edit and reel Eric...

HI PERKINS BUILDER BROTHERS!! I was just watching TH-cam shorts and came across a new piece of roofing equipment product called the
PITCH HOPPER. It could prove very useful for safety and comfort when applying shingles. I don't know if you are going to install shingles, but maybe it could be used for one of your future constructions. I DO NOT work for the company that makes the pitch hoppers. I am in fact a kid from Australia who loves to watching your videos. Thanks for making amazing videos.

    Love yur work guys.
Aussie in Thailand here & love this build of Jeremy’s home.
You’d never find anything like this here as for one, no “qualified” local professional builders; and secondly, they’ve no imagination to design, plan or build anything like this either. Thirdly, they’ve very limited materials, resources, tools and know how. No house build qualified plumbers, electricians, concretors or block layers and they can’t mix concrete to manufacturers specifications if their lives depended on it.
If anyone did build something like this here, sure on the outside it’d look done but peel back the layers you’d be left scratching and shaking your head as to how & why to pick up the pieces falling off after they’ve left the site.
Keep up the great work. Love it.
