I know all these steps but its very nice to know how you can simply take these steps from basic 8.. im getting used to thinking about these links which I have done from Americana... and it works very well.. but never thought of doing it from basic 8 .. for the lead I think its very useful so that they don't have to think far to keep the flow of dance... jus t take the basic and branch from there ... very useful breakdown of ideas...thanks so much from uk
You got the concept! Wonderful! By being able to recognize the possible continuations *from any step* we can better deal with: forgotten figures, running out of space, music we're unfamiliar with, and making our steps fit with our partner and with the music.
