At 1.00 Andrew said those most important words, 'listen to every kind of music'. I tell everyone I know the same words...why? So you're producing a song and say it sounds a bit flattish, say it's a pop song, add a reggae guitar riff and boom, it changes the whole dynamics of the song. Take a very good example of Phil Collins, we know he's the front for Genesis but when he went solo, fuck me where did those horns come from? That's because he loved Motown and played around with the sound and then it crept into Genesis song's. So yes, listening to as many types of music does help you greatly as a producer 🎼🎼🎼🎼

let's dedicate our entire lives to make music sound great and just then if we're as lucky as andrew was, we can MAYBE get out of it with some money, forget about proper credits, because you know, artists need to feel us as if we were invisible. btw I really enjoy how andrew's pure luck ended up sounding, I'm not just that much lucky.

No you can start with 2-3k. When you become more established you upgrade
