I have walked through Castle Park almost every day for the past 3 years that I have lived and studied so far in Bristol. There are 2 buildings that the Univeristy I attend own, and even though the one at passage street is a tiny bit further away, I always enjoy the wonderful walk through Castle Park I have to do to get there. That is probably one of the things I will miss the most when I finish Uni in July. Thank you so much for posting this historic and informative video!
I'm originally from London. My mum drove ambulances during the London Blitz. I moved to Bristol in 2000. Next time I walk through Castle Park. I say a few words of thanks to all those now dead, who endured the horror of the Second World War.
