Quick question what do you do for DSP space these plug-ins are not a game talking about UAD plug-ins or do you use both UAD and VST

Uad has native plugins for the Neve and 1176. There are alternatives to the other plugins that you can substitute.

Use them on tracking within UAD console, then print the audio. If you wanna add them post, create a chain, print the audio.

@ScottThePisces you don’t need the console to print. The UAD plugins that most ppl would use are native and you can print in pro tools without the console. So you don’t even need dsp for the neve 1073 , 76 and 2A because they are all native including the Manley

serious question can you do your best to try and make a post malone and maybe some other popular artists sound with the free plugins on FL studio and teach us how to make it and why it works etc? a lot of my mixing is just things im applying that ive learned on other presets but i dont really understand what the plugins do or whatever especially EQ , i have no clue what im doing in that menu , i just click what ive been told on youtube but i dont actually understand it :/

The thing is, a professional artist can record with the apollo and the plugins but that's half the story. Those same vocals are still going to be ran through analog gear in the mixing and mastering phase.

I know Irko tryna do most his mixing in the box now but majority of stuff is through analog or printed. But you know most upcoming artists have commitment issues to sounds etc. but then again once you’re considered “professional “ it’s more at play
