I am Danish and Albert dyrlund was one of the biggest parts of my childhood. I watched videos every day of him having fun and hanging out with his friends. But one thing i remember of him is that he would go after his dreams. He was such an inspiration. But I know that Albert is looking down, from the high, beautiful sky, smiling and just thinking about memories and good things. Rip Albert dyrlund 🕊✝️
He was such a genuine guy. I met him randomly at a party and ended up crashing at his editor's place with him. He showed me the viking video and I said I'd also just seen your video where you cycled across the US. They told me they'd just gotten to know you. He said see you to me when I left the next morning... Crazy that he's not here anymore... RIP.

I just met you tonight on your trip from France to Switzerland and came over to sub and ring the bell. While I watched the trip I said wow he didn't even know that in a few short months the pandemic would have made it near impossible. I am so proud of the way you took that trip. YOU inspired me, you had a friend if only for a moment in life that inspired you so much more. WHEN you are ready, remember your words on how he would want you to live by bringing people together and CARRY OUT that mission. It is a beautiful one and I am so sorry for your loss and the way you had to experience it. Time will heal, but we carry each of the ones we loved for the rest of out lives. take all the time you need man. It took me 4 years to even start accepting that my brother passed away in a train accident in 2016 to which we don't know how this could've happened to this day. The most important thing is that you're able to think back and smile at the awesome adventures you had and all the fun memories you made together. honoring him with your positive memories and stories is probably the best thing you can do now.

I even heard him leave the house the night before but i thought he'd just went out to buy some cigarretes as usual. The next morning I got visited by the policemen who were asking if my brother was home. Of course he was gone when i checked. After calling the whole family and making my parents shorten their vacation I had to wait about 6 hours until the police were able to tell me anything because as i said, I was home alone at the time and the policemen weren't allowed to tell me anything unless my guardian was present. Longest 6 hous of my life later: We finally got the message that my brother was run over by a train at around 3 am. It was quite far away from home and in a spot where you would've had to crawl through bushes and climb over a fence to reach the train tracks. The police said it was suicide but i know for certain that he'd be the last person on earth to do something like this right after finally being able to get a grip in life.
I met him once and he was so freaking awesome. I couldn’t believe that this happened. I know it’s a bit of time ago now but I can’t stop thinking about how I has been for you his family and his other friends. I love you so much and just remember you aren’t alone. We will always be with you and Albert will be remembered by many many of people.❤️

I’m a 20 year old Iowan who thought his life couldn’t get any more depressing/struggle as it is rn and this crazy world has to take my sister away last Thursday due to covid she was 22 yr old vaccinated with no underlying health problems yet this virus was still able to take her away. Right don’t know why there’s not that many comments posting about this a lot of Americans go to dangerous areas in foreign countries thinking that their immortal and that they won’t get hurt/the rules don’t apply to them, like most of his videos their basically chasing death for views it’s so dumb and very American of them to go to a foreign country to a dangerous area very unprepared . Man, it's been hard to watch, I've been at the place two times, the last time only a week or so before it happened so your description was so visual and realistic for me, making it feel more than some distant story told by and about people I never knew, but actually some kind of connection like it could have happened to me or the friends I was there with... And I can't think of how devastated and shocked you must have been. So I wish you all the best and an easy time remembering the good about your friend, you told us how awesome he was, even if some of us here never knew anything of him, now you made us remember him as a cool guy! :)

I’ve watched Albert’s video since about the start of his career and I always loved his fantastic character and way of spreading joy trough his videos, even if he isn’t on earth he will still be loved and known as the king of Danish youtube
As a dane who have seen Albert since i was 7 years old. There's no words, for how much Albert meant for many danish teens. We drink to his music, we laugh at his videos, he influenced our lives so much. I don't know what to say to be honest, it still doesn't make sense. Albert were really the last person you would think this could happen to.

I’m a 20 year old Iowan who thought his life couldn’t get any more depressing/struggle as it is rn and this crazy world has to take my sister away last Thursday due to covid she was 22 yr old vaccinated with no underlying health problems yet this virus was still able to take her away. And I can't think of how devastated and shocked you must have been. So I wish you all the best and an easy time remembering the good about your friend, you told us how awesome he was, even if some of us here never knew anything of him, now you made us remember him as a cool guy! :)

Tucker, my little brother passed away at 22 just bit over 2 years ago. We had plans of things to do together. Doing those things helped me get through the tough times. Remember the people you love. Do the things they would think make you happy.
