Getting a ticket while paying a ticket is the absolute worst. You get 10 mins max for a quarter and it takes 25 mins to be seen. But you'll lose your spot in line because they want to call you when your trying to re-up your meter which is a block away. After that happened to me I started taking the train 😂

So the members of the Hateocracy are supposed to be Fred Sanford (the man who says "You big black dummy"), Aunt Esther (the woman who says "fish-eyed fool"), and James Evans Jr A.K.A "JJ" (the man who says "buffalo butt"). Fred Sanford and Aunt Esther are characters in "Sanford and Son" who always say these catchphrases and they always insult each other on the show. James "JJ" Evans Jr. is a character on "Good Times" who along with other characters on the show call the handyman that works in the apartment (named Bookman) they live in "Buffalo Butt".

I remember first seeing bushido brown on that oprah episode, he kicked Huey's ass and was pretty badass. Then i got to this episode and saw him die. Im not gonna lie it was disappointing because i felt like he had more to give to the show. There was a season 4 after all, if i remember right, which came way later, but people said it wasnt the same show. Still, having Bushido Brown back for season 4 would have had its moments im sure.

My fear is that you will miss the message with the humor present. The fact is that this show deals/dealt with the issues and sensitivities of the “ados” community. Much of what is present here will go over your heads. This is my favorite season 3 episode. The fight scenes were legendary 😂😂😂😂
The opening scene is a reference to the movie 28 Weeks Later, a sequel to the zombie apocalypse classic 28 Days Later. I love this series and appreciate that you understand that this show is complete satire of black culture and not meant to offend, even if it does. So the members of the Hateocracy are supposed to be Fred Sanford (the man who says "You big black dummy"), Aunt Esther (the woman who says "fish-eyed fool"), and James Evans Jr A.K.A "JJ" (the man who says "buffalo butt").
Fred Sanford and Aunt Esther are characters in "Sanford and Son" who always say these catchphrases and they always insult each other on the show.
James "JJ" Evans Jr. is a character on "Good Times" who along with other characters on the show call the handyman that works in the apartment (named Bookman) they live in "Buffalo Butt".
He says “no relation” because he goes by “uncle” ruckus but he isn’t actually related to anyone😂

I remember first seeing bushido brown on that oprah episode, he kicked Huey's ass and was pretty badass. Then i got to this episode and saw him die. Im not gonna lie it was disappointing because i felt like he had more to give to the show. There was a season 4 after all, if i remember right, which came way later, but people said it wasnt the same show. Still, having Bushido Brown back for season 4 would have had its moments im sure.

My fear is that you will miss the message with the humor present. The fact is that this show deals/dealt with the issues and sensitivities of the “ados” community. Much of what is present here will go over your heads. The only way you all to fully comprehend what’s being said is for you to fully ingratiate yourself in that culture which would take an extremely high amount of work. To go there would definitely achieve supreme amount of praise from a lot of people but if not no harm ….
