Hello my lovely crochet friends, today I am releasing a crochet tutorial on how to crochet a very easy scrunchie. I hope you enjoy version 2 on how to crochet a scrunchie, Take care and lots of love, Xoxo Selina
Being dyslexic I find the other methods of crocheting scrunchies somewhat confusing and difficult. When I saw this pattern I’m feeling more confident on making crochet scrunches. Thank you!
Thank you for this!! I watched a few other tutorials and couldn't for the life of me figure out how they were so neatly wrapping it around the elastic. This made much more sense 😂 so thank you
Hi! I just made one of these and it came out so nice :) I’m hosting a pop up shop at my friends yarn shop in a month. I was wondering if it would be okay for me to use your pattern to sell some of these? I would of course give you credit for the pattern!
I like how calm you are🥰 im gonna try this🥰😊 and may i ask what does the tapestry do?? and can i make a crochet scrunchie without the tapestry thing?? Have a good day
Thank you ❤️ glad you like it, the tapestry needle is just for sewing in the scrunchie, so I think you would need it for this project, hope this helps 🥰
Hi! I'm following this tutorial and it's going pretty good thanks to you and your beautiful demonstration! I have a question.. at the very end after sealing the last gap you put the yarn through a random hole of the crochet... what could I do to make it more secure? Like, some kind of knot or sewing which I could do to make it extra secured? Thank you, have a nice day/night❤
Hello, thank you for your comment! Yes you would pull your yarn through the very last loop of your project, when you snip off your yarn and pull it through this last loop completely, it creates a knot that secures the whole project. Hope this helps!
I love this pattern but I wanted to ask a question, as you said that the two chains count as a stitch so we add a half double crochet on the second stitch... I did this but because of it my peice is getting a little slanted. What should I do?
Thank you. It should definitely straighten out the longer the project gets? It does look a bit slanted the first few rows but should definitely straighten out afterwards. Let me know how it goes
hi is there a difference if i do this with a much thinner thread, because i have been doing it with a thinner thread and i cant see any of the threads that you point out. please help me thank you in advance :D
Hi. May I know what is the size of the yarn that you used on this video? Thanks. I'm from Philipphines, and a newbie on crochet. So i don't know what's the exactyl sizes of yarn and hook that I'm going to use. Then I saw your vlog about how to crochet scrunchies for the beginners. And I want to follow and do your step on this vlog. Please give a responds, thankyou! 😊
Hello, thank you for your message. This yarn is a light worsted weight yarn, if you go on the website yarnsub.com you will have more details on this yarn and how to substitute it if needed. Then just follow my tutorial, and check out the blog post linked in the description box for more information. Hope this helps!
Hi, yes you could, but I think it would look better with acrylic or the yarn stated (Lion Brand Feels Like Butta), because it will give it that "fluffy" look. Hope this helps!
Hi dear, I would like to sell this product to gain some profit to donate a small percentage to the special needs and use the others for my expenses as we are relying only on my mother to support the family expenses. I will definitely credit you for the pattern, is that okay? :)
@The Lively Girl Aisha so far I've made 6! I love them so much. This patterns the best and easiest I've found so far. Im going to have a hoard of scrunchies soon lol
Hello, maybe you should count your stitches the first few rows, just to make sure you have the right amount until you get into the swing of this project. Hope this helps!
