How to Convert CATProduct into single CATPART file.

Hello Friends,
Thanks for being connected with channel and continues views.
This video is related to conversion a CATproduct file of CATIA into a single CATPart files means assembly file of catia conversion into part file.
Here we can convert it as merged all bodies into one or we can generate all assembled parts as bodies into CATpart file.

At the time of using "generate CATPart from product" command, dont check/select/tick on the option of "Merge all bodies of each part in one body". then your product will never be a single solid body.

How to retain tha color of the parts after the conversion ? . For me all the parts turned into grey.

Hi and thanks for the video, unfortunately I don't have the option "generate part from assembly" . Do I need to enable this feature in settings? If so how do I activate it?

Be sure, you must be in assembly mode...many time when you open any assembly, it opens in deferent mode (product structure) not in assembly. So change its mode then you will get option for it.

Go to Options>General>Compatibility>STEP>Application Protocol (AP)
Change to 214 iso.

Directly you can't convert from Catpart to Catproduct in catia but you can do by 2 methods.
1- manually
2- Automation (Macro).
