Love the effort you put into this video, didnt expect to get a full on pc building guide with a case review. I personally dislike the psu shroud tho. In the beginning you showed us a finished build with some rgb fans in the bottom and they make the cables show through the psu shroud. Just makes it look a bit messy because you cant hide them.
Bought one of these, but honestly wasn’t impressed. The bottom panel could have accommodated 140 fans instead of just 120. The cut outs at the bottom of the mobo make it nearly impossible to put your GPU power cable thru, and the grommets they suggest at the side kill the aesthetics of the build. Can’t use a fan at the bottom if you use the GPU cut out, which is a real shame as they could have easily just put that cut out closer to the edge of the case near the light strip. Will send mine back unfortunately.
Amazing video, highly appreciate you working with that case so much, thanks! I consider running the M25G2 fans as well, what's your impression on those? They seem quite fine for their price point & looks to be honest. Regarding the case, I have a Strix 4070Ti Super, is there a way to install a GPU bracket for my own sanity's sake? I feel like I need one, but with the bottom 3 fans I can't use the included stand-off thingy. Also, when going for the NexLinq Hub, I should be able to connect 3x 3 fans to it, right? Not using an AIO, just 3x 3Fan blocks at the top, bottom & front. I'd route the exhaust fan through my mainboard directly then.
85% done with my Vision/Tryx/Asus hero build......No one warned me avbout 140 fans on bottom and the motherboard in the low position interferes with the bottom row of header connections.
@@HolloVVpoint If you don't mind me asking, why not? What about the case makes you say that? I get that it's more budget friendly but the fact that it comes with 4 fans and has amazing airflow. I may be having an issue finding the negatives, but I'm intrigued
Yeah sure thing. The bottom panel could have accommodated 140 fans instead of just 120. You can get the full benefits because the 120 fans are a lot louder even at like 50% speed whilst moving less air. There’s space for 140 fans but they’ve just gone with 120 at the bottom. The cut outs at the bottom of the mobo make it nearly impossible to put your GPU power cable thru, unless your want to bend all the pins at the bottom, forget about gpus that require more than one power cable. Worst is there is no reason for those cut outs to be so small, it’s a major design over sight. The grommets they suggest at the side apart from killing the aesthetics of the build still won’t fit larger GPU cables properly. Can’t use a fan at the bottom if you use the GPU cut out, which is a real shame as they could have easily just put that cut out closer to the edge of the case near the light strip. Additionally it feels cheaply built and lacks quality of life features when taking it apart like the top requiring like 5 screws to remove. It’s annoying because I thought this will be THE CASE but Will send mine back unfortunately. Hope that helps.
seriously the best explainer in regards to building pc's
Many thanks
This channel is the life saver.. thanks man 🙌🏻
Thank you

I'm sure a neater builder could do a better job of hiding the cables
@@TheProvokedPrawn it’s still gonna be hard to hide that but only when using rgb fans
Another fantastic video, Kudos!
Many thanks

Does the glass side panel have a slight tint to it?
Thank you.
No worries!

Do we know when the case will release? I'm debating this case or the Asus Tuf GT302
My Local store said they will be in stock somewhere in january
I asked Phanteks directly on IG, and they said it will be available in the US through Microcenter and Amazon the week of the 17th.
They already are here in the UK, bought one yesterday. But honestly wouldn’t personally recommend it.
