Thank you for this video. I have been looking for a video that goes into detail about the wrists and how to release it and no one wants to tell you in detail. Almost like its a secret code no ones is allowed to reveal. So i have been using more of a body swing and doing fairly good with it however i did 27 holes yesterday and today i am so sore i can barely move. So again thank you. If you have anymore (hidden nuggets) on how to creat speed please reveal. Lol Cheers!!! 👍✌️
Everything was great until you mentioned what? You know what. As a weekend golfer Everything is fine until you mention rolling of the forearms to keep the ball straighter. To me and I'm not totally wrong the rolling clockwise for me because I play lefthanded is one more thing which causes inconsistencies. I rather close the clubface more at setup and see what natural roll I have if any and work from there. Just trying to keep it more in play. Maybe it is not as bad as it sounds. With my swing I see changing setup positions.
Whether you like it or not the lead wrist needs to move from flexion to extension to help close the face and speed creation. The wrists have to Downcock and the lead arm will need some supernation (rolling) that’s very different to an inconsistent flick with the wrists or trail arm rolling over the lead. You’re correct, you could reduce the amount needed by closing the face more or earlier in the downswing.
