The problem is that once in jail won't change a jerks ingrown behaviour.
It's not until the consequences "hurt" more than the original behaviour.
He's been like this for his life, so he needs a lot more consequences time to override that.

One must understand when to shut up. Nothing but his flippant attitude got him in hot water. You can not speak to judges like that, even when you think you are right. My Ole man taught me better to be smart than be right. The example he always used was a pedestrian has the right of way at a crosswalk, however, this does not mean you should step off the curb in front of a moving car. In that scenario you may have been right but you weren't very smart. This guy gave me another example today, lol. Know when to shut up.

Now there is a fine of $2500 driving with a suspended license, at least five days in jail, whatever the fine is for speeding, a $500 contempt fine, jail time for the contempt charge, likely an arrest warrant, and the cost of a lawyer to try to keep him out of jail. I mean, impartiality is the core of our criminal justice system, lady justice is blindfolded for a reason. He didn't have an attorney at this stage to speak for him either, and all men have the same rights, even if they act like they shouldn't. I will say he was contemptuous for the "you should take a deep breath" remark. That should have been a $100 fine, even though he was kinda right.
