Can you believe I've been doing this channel for two years and I never reviewed a Wolverine figure? Today, I rectify that with a long overdue look at a Logan, specifically the new Retro Card training suit version, as he appeared in Uncanny X-Men 275 (a few issues before and after that too).

The brown suit is my favorite suit. A new accessory could be a cigar or have a flipping off claw hand.
Yeah I've always had a soft spot for the brown suit too. No way Hasbro does a cigar or flipping off hand, but it wouldn't shock me if a third party artist makes them
You have all these Wolverines' goodness, and you've never done a Wolverine review??!?!
I'm not an X-Men fan, nor a Wolverine fan, nor a Marvel fan, but Jason, you could sell someone the Brooklyn Bridge. Now I wanna get me one of these Wolverines!!

The first Wolverine figure i ever owned was also the first X-Men figure i ever owned.
One Easter when I was in Elementary School, my mother bought the ToyBiz 1991 Uncanny X-Men Wolverine and the 90s ToyBiz Colossus.

I agree, Stealth Iron Man is an icon now. Never would have happened if Hasbro didn't frick up your figure. Awesome review 👍 in my opinion, I always need wolverine to have a mask when he's in an X-Men suit. If he's in regular biker clothes just his face looks great.
Don't let Stealth Iron Man hear that, it'll go to his head lol but I do agree about Wolverine, that's why I wanted to try the masked one on this figure. I honestly dig it
Your macro close-up shots are one thing that sets your channel apart from the others. What kind of camera do you use? Do you record your dialogue first or do you build it around your camera work afterwards? Or maybe a mixture of both creating a rough draft first
Thanks for the kind words and questions! I shoot on a Canon Vixia HF R800 and use a lav mic. I record all my dialogue in-camera as I am shooting, but will dub over if I need to. I don't work from a script so much as I think of bullet points as I am going over the figure before recording and then ad lib as I go. Often, I will go back and add jokes. I also don't shoot in order. I start with Packaging, but usually do figure comparisons or accessories, then Poseability, and finally Presentation after I have had the figure in hand a while. Then I do all the "glam" shots, and just kind of remember the cadence of how I said my previous lines so it sounds seamless.

The only marvel legends wolverine i have is the bonebreaker wave hot claws (which i painted metallic silver) and it does come with the 5 pack yelling head so it would match perfectly ...if the eyes were blue instead of brown.
They made his eyes brown? Wow. I passed on it because I'm hoping they reissue it as just a straight up Astonishing X-Men version, and with the new Cyclops and Emma I am guessing that will be soon

I should expect My heat claws Wolverine figure from Amazon by the 22nd because my friend got him for me and even though I am not getting the whole X-MEN team suited figures to go with this Wolverine at least he looks badass, Great review on this fun cool unique X-MEN team suited design Wolverine figure Jason.

I am kicking myself because I once passed on a chance to get Old Man Hawkeye loose for $20. Would have been worth it for that head

Hey Jason, fan here from the Philippines! I subbed recently and you've become my favorite reviewer. I bought my first Mcfarlane figures based on your reviews (Future state Supes, comedian Joker and the Bane mega fig). I just decided to dip my toes into Marvel Legends Wolverine figures and lo and behold, you just came out with this video!
I'll most likely be getting the House of X and Old man Logan versions, but I'm waffling between the AoA wave version VS the animated version for my tiger stripe Wolverine. What do you prefer? Any chance of doing a best of Wolverine video?
Thanks so much for the kind words Kyle! I really appreciate it! I'm happy my videos have helped. If you just want a good classic tiger stripe, Animated is more accurate than AoA. BUT the Animated has painted on shading that won't match other comic book figures. If you want to collect all the Animated figures then that will work ok, but if you want to do a mostly comic style collection, I'd recommend either the Love Triangle 3 Pack or the Apocalypse wave. Both are pretty expensive though, so you may have to be patient and wait for a good deal. Loose will also be more affordable too.
I actually prefer the return of wolverine tiger stripe marvel legend figure because it comes with a masked and unmasked head which is nice snd the claws are less flimsy and there thicker but this is my first marvel legends wolverine figure
One of these days I should hunt that one down..never did get a hold of it

Yeah luckily they usually overpack Wolverine so getting him on clearance won't be hard I'm sure
I've noticed that you don't have many of the flash action figures that are a villain at least so I have wanted to bring something to your attention it is called the soap studios reverse flash You don't have to pick it up but just for recommendation

Ha! Yeah I feel like the sleeves on that movie suit are a mistake. The blue stripe makes his arms look skinny. Still stoked to finally see him in a costume though!

Heads are solid, the claws are a joke..why is Hasbro using those?
The thicker claws from the X-Force suit Wolverine should be the standard or they need to create all new ones.
Yeah the claws are rough for sure. I need to just cave in and get some from Can of Beams and be done with it.
