I used to live in Stanton St Bernard just below the Alton Barnes white horse and those helicopters were regular visitors .. they used to line up sometimes before heading over to do their business in the Salisbury plain army training area. I didn't mind the Apaches so much but those training "Squirrel" helicopters made a right high pitched whining noise .. Nice area do miss all the walking trails in the area - I'm in Devon now so not too shabby.
I don't blame you at all Andy for changing the set hike... It's your walk after all and it looked amazing 👍. When you take the shots of yourself coming up the hills... I'm guessing you have some sort of automatic camera that follows you... I'm not too familiar with camera tech....unless your getting the cows to film for you 🤣👌😁
Was the lump of concrete where the trig point should stand!? seems an odd place to have a random square of concrete!! lovely view's up there. Energising walk
This was a really picturesque hike Andy! I especially love the canal towpath sections and seeing your campsite all set up. Will you do a post hike review for this trail? 🏕

I’ll answer your query in a future video!

I don’t think so, I’m guessing it was a relic of WW2.

Thanks. Yes, more than likely!
