GIRLLLL i got you with back pain! I had a back injury awhile back and the best way is sitting straight up with pillows as a support especially in your lower back. Also get up every hourish and do some back stretches to strengthen the muscles in your back, they help A LOT I don't get crochet back pain anymore!
I agree. I have a newer disc issue since last fall and I can finally crochet without back pain by sitting upright, pillow behind my back and under my knees and the Valari pillow around my chest to keep my piece upright. And getting up hourly is so important, marathon crochet or sitting in general is asking for back pains.

might be just me but i LOVEEEE your longer videos!!! they feel so much more cozy and intimate plus i always watching them while i crochet :,)
I crochet at my desk, but similarly I end up leaning over my project and getting back and neck pain. So I used some scrap chunky yarn to crochet myself one of those crescent moon shaped pillows, and because it's curved, it's the perfect amount of support for my lower back and keeps my back straight. Since you mostly work from your bed though, it might be better to get one of those in-bed craft tables so the project is elevated and causes your neck and back less strain cause you won't have to lean over as much. Hope this helped! Love your videos, keep up the good work!

A foam roller really helps relieve back pain. If you lay with your back on top of it and then move up and down it helps relieve the pain.

Crocheting a lace shawl-ish thing for some larp kit! The kit is very c-drama fantasy historical mixed with valkyrie in cool bluey purpley silver tones, with noble elf/angel vibes too. Its a big mishmash of stuff but very fun to design and make for as I usually sew for a living, as well as designing costumes and making them from scratch
Love the video! You're my fav crochet youtuber! 🥰 For the back pain I would suggest getting one of those big maternity pillows from amazon (I think its called like Momcozy or something). I have one and its great for crocheting cuz you can wrap it around you so it helps arm/wrist and back pain! 😊

The thing you said about back pain is realllll😭 the only thing i find prevent that a little bit is to always always have good support for your lower back. Just put a pillow or something. Helps me a lot at least🫶

To avoid back pain, try keeping your arm lifted while crocheting so you're not looking down and having shrimp posture, putting pillows on your lower back and under your arms helps

I saw a good way to help with back pain is 1) crochet with a pillow so your elbows are supported (yes makes a big difference)
2) take breaks every 30-44 minutes. Yes. Get up. Straighten up, stretch, go to the washroom. Whatever you gotta do but take at LEAST 2-5 minutes. I know it sucks when you just wanna go but thats how any job kills your body and makes you so sore. Not. Enough. Breaks. And taking them in a way that actually helps.
3) I love to stretch by just folding forward either seated or standing. You can look up what forward folds are of you cant picture it 😅❤❤❤
