I really enjoyed this video. Great job adding all the cut scenes while you were talking. It really kept my attention. It would
have been a great first intro video (like a teaser preview) to the last several you’ve posted in the last couple weeks. Well done. :)

Thank you so much in your commenting and watching. We tried to highlight and go more in depth the past several weeks on what that town has to offer.

Carthage Marble, they've tore down the building. This is where the Marble came from for the Courthouse. My dad was a Watchman there. Also my uncle (on my mother's side) ran the Courthouse elevator

Kevin and Kim, good review of things to do near Carthage. My wife is very familiar with the area. Her Dad is from Joplin and her Mother was actually from Carthage. Honestly, she couldn't help but notice that you pronounced it with an extra R after the th. An honest mistake for someone not from the area though, so no worries. You should see how often I mispronounce place names, so she's rather used to it. 😅Lots of good options though of things to see and do there. It's an area that's often overlooked but has lots to offer. Thanks for sharing. Peace and safe travels.

LOL that is funny. Yeah we did mispronounce it! I think your right about that town being overlooked. We just loved it an had a great time that we wanted to share our experiences with others. Thanks for watching!

If you come back to Carthage you should eat at the Woodshed and go Diamond Mo. to the George Washington Carver

I was born and raised in Carthage, just a quick FYI, when you showed the picture of the original courthouse, that was on the mural painted by Lowell Davis, who created Red Oak II.
