Erra stay BUSY! They churn out music like crazy, but surprisingly, the detail and creativity is always there. So much talent packed into a small group of dudes.

Then they dropped 3 singles between that time and now, with a new album set to release in 2 months. Apart from that, Jesse has released 2 other albums under his side project, and JT has reunited with Texas in July and released an EP. Tell me more about how they're slacking.
I love how this builds off the B-Side of their self titled album. You can hear elements of "Sol Absentia", "Nigh to Silence" and even the Audioslave cover "Light my way". You can tell that the boys are constantly building off their previous efforts and finding new ways to sound groovy and melodical. Can't wait to hear what the rest of the album sounds like.
That new oceans are Alaska and Invent animate keeping that sound sounding fresh and still pushing the prog metalcore sound forward without being water down or less intense. Miss the good old days 😢
Sonically this is insane - the chorus is this beautiful haunting tone, the harmonies almost echoing is top tier. Can't get enough of this errra sound/tone and future. stoked for 4/5

@@jaakezzz_Greal talk every single song sounds the same with pitch shifters, jesses boring singing, mid chuggy riffs with the low end way way to prominent, and not really that technical riffs that alwys have the same notation and rhythms just mixed up differently on every song, with an average mid range unclean vocalist. It’s incredibly boring since Alan and garrison left.
These guys are one of my top five bands probably top three. These guys are just epic. They make magic together. Their music is beyond perfection. It is so so good. I hope these guys have a huge 2024. Hopefully will be getting. Album or ep in the works to love them
It feels more accessible than their old stuff, and perhaps more simple, but just as creative and fresh--somehow. Amazing work, the whole album is a massive grower.
Jesse is the KING OF PENTATONIC SCALE This one is not similar to the previous erra songs but it is still fking amazing, really love the chorus melody and the intro
Erra got hell a lot of 120bpm stuff but imo this one really gives me something different in terms of the combination of clean vocal and chord progression
Stylist: Conor Hesse Man's pulling double duty here ripping on bass and making sure everyone's absolutely dripped out. Some weirder vocal patterns here and I'm all about it. Experimenting leads to growth and this feels like a track that will balance out an extremely technical song that I'm guessing will be dropped in a couple weeks. Keep shredding boys!
I love drums, I play them and have for over 20 years so don’t take this the wrong way but in music like this it is easy for the drummer to do “To much”. This is a good example of doing the right amount for what the music calls for that also makes the ending more special when he added more fills and bass rolls. Awesome

@@sarcasm4371 Personally, Impulse and Augment are my top 2 with augment prob taking the #1 spot, Moments of Clarity was pretty meh because the screamer they replaced Garrison with just sounded like a grunting warthog. Drift was also meh because the mix sounded like complete ass. But the self-titled I think was top tier songwriting/musicianship and production, as someone who's recorded metal for 15+ years, and played guitar for 18+
