Actually Bridge Over Troubled Water was first recorded by Simon And Garfunkel in 1970. It's been covered by many artists since then including Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley.

You should really listen to the original Simon and Garfunkel recording of this song. Covers like this tend to sensationalize the vocals. It's beautiful, but the original feel gets lost in the production. This song isn't about performance. It's about your heart. The original paints a picture in your mind of an elderly woman on the street who is dying. She, the "silver girl" is being comforted by the Holy Spirit. He tells her that it's her time to shine, and that all her dreams (of Heaven) are on their way. He'll be sailing right behind. It's a call for us to be compassionate toward those who are less fortunate, who may be poor or homeless, feeble or dying.

Don’t get me wrong I love these girls and we know that they can really sing. But really their trying to cover Soyang only made me realize how incredible Soyang is.
