Kudos to the assistant chef...given his demeanor, I presume he's still learning (which is why he's the assistant and not the Chef himself), but he did his best.
It's the Thai manner. To apologize beforehand for something that one's have no confidence in (in this case, English skill) before some mistake happens, as to ask the person you're interacting with for an understanding and leniency. It's the reason why most Thais, when speaking on Online discourse will always apologize in the comment along the line of "sorry for any bad English" etc.
@@Im0utlaw It was great experience, I hope you enjoy yours, as well. For mine, I mentioned how much I like unagi (freshwater eel), and the chef included three different presentations of it.

How old is that assistant chef. He looks so young and yet so skilled at helping out with the meals. I can't wait til he blossoms into his own and opens his own restaurant.
Dancing bacons, just to let you know someone took your Nintendo land video and used it as the background for aitah short. You can see one of you with the popcorn star.
I mean okay...the experience itself is worth way more than $20 USD...the food is just an amazing addition. If this was a first date meal you'd be in like flynn...

You can really see the difference between this and the top ones but for 20 dollars im eating this every day if i could haha! Great video Have to admit i think the gold spray should not be there...
Some really creative and memorable presentations, here, and ONLY $21 USD?! Sign me up! I could tell that Mrs. Bacons was even happier than usual in this one.
Stumbled on to this video looking for sushi in Bangkok. I can confirm for $20-85usd .. this has to be one of the best omakase I have experienced. Kind of out of the way if you are a tourist to also avoid trying to get there during rush hour
It is not, but it's FAR better than your usual noisy restaurant. Here you just need to listen to your chef, and everybody is quiet and minds their own business. I'm super timid yet I'd go to an omakase if I could

does anyone else fall asleep to these? 😭 the background chatter is soooo relaxing
no way because it is 9am right now. Also the food makes me hungry.
yesss.... i watch there videos its so relaxing and soothing... i just keep them in loop and i love it
I don't fall asleep, but my pulse rate on my fitbit goes down measurable. Its clearly doing something good for me.
Absolutely when I can’t sleep I love to put on DB video playlists. They’re the best food tuber.
Chef said he didn't speak English very well, but I understood everything. He was clear and enunciated. The food looked good, too.
I felt sad he has to apologize in his customer speech, his english is fine it's just that he has a heavy accent. I could still understand him
hes probably following a script very closely, but i agree. He did answer the off camera peoples questions.
Unfortunately, I’m sure there are those tourists who act like they can’t understand them cause of their accent.

Wow, everything looks great. What an experience for only $20 USD. I want to get that smoke bubble gun!
Wow..thats a great price! Yall should go back and try the $50 omakase and see how it differs...even $50 is a good deal
$20 USD!? You must be joking.. I am catching the next flight 🛫
For real. The only time I ever got omakase it was over $100, it had less courses, and it was many years ago.

That price is still very expensive for Southeast Asia countries tho (except singapore)
The chef is such a bright, polite man. I enjoyed his explanations!
I appreciate your hardwork and dedication thank u to make me happy and keeping me entertained
To the chef: you speak it just fine ❤ also such lovely customer service
This is one of my favorite videos from your channel. Their attention to detail…. What a great find.
I wonder of the sous chef was a barber in a previous career. He had hand tattoos that suggested such.
Don't know but he has huge hands for being so small.
I didn’t get, just because he has tattoos in his hands he would be a barber? That’s kinda weird 🤔
I mean he can work wherever he wants with or without tattoos

Beautiful Omakase meal.
🫶🏻 🥓 🥓 Thank you for sharing it.
Fascinating that they were using brown rice and not standard white sushi rice!
I’m living vicariously through these videos, thanks Dancing Bacons :)
I like that they are using brown rice! The softly spoken “only cash” at the end made me smile. 🙂
I dont think they are using brown rice. Most likely(almost definitely) seasoned sushi rice which will give a brown color from the seasoning
must be awkward to tell that to the customers _XD
And the restaurant has a sense of humor!!! Please note the balloon dog sculptures on the shelf over Chef's left shoulder (our right). ❤
I zoomed in and I’m not sure that’s what they are 😊♥️☮️

love the chef, he seemed so pleasant. and his english is great, its a hard language!!
One of the best things in DB´s videos is the fact she uses very simple english language which almost everyone all over the world can understand.
Okay, this is silly.
I joined the channel for quick microwave food content, but now I know japanese food, singapore food, thai food, korean food…
