Holy shit I literally felt this to my bones, people don’t understand that they can give someone who has depression the world but what they need the most is a break from the thoughts screaming in their head. My girlfriend and I both go through this, I told I would protect from anything and everything but I’m falling back in the promise when I see her crying and I just can’t do anything but tell it’ll be alright, and there’s light on the other side. But words only speak a little and actions can only dull the pain a little. I wish I could take her pain away but I know that it’s humanly impossible to take a load off of someone who doesn’t deserve it even though you know you deserve it more than her. Holy shit I literally felt this to my bones, people don’t understand that they can give someone who has depression the world but what they need the most is a break from the thoughts screaming in their head. My girlfriend and I both go through this, I told I would protect from anything and everything but I’m falling back in the promise when I see her crying and I just can’t do anything but tell it’ll be alright, and there’s light on the other side. But words only speak a little and actions can only dull the pain a little. I wish I could take her pain away but I know that it’s humanly impossible to take a load off of someone who doesn’t deserve it even though you know you deserve it more than her. She’s been through hell and back and I’ve fucked up so many times I should be dead.

@Angelina Perdikaris I understand where you are coming from but everyone reacts to emotions in a different way, so leaving this world seems better than feeling everything on the inside. I'm not dead yet and am getting much better, but many people out there (like my girlfriend) have been fighting it for almost there whole life and feel like giving up because they are tired. Saying this to someone doesn't always help, because the person wants understanding not being questioned on why they want too.

Yeah. Thats how I feel, too, even though I have no reason to feel that way. I feel guilty for the littlest reasons and get anxious at the thought of bothering people. Anxiety is the best 🙃
