This is a beginner as it's going to get. Unless you need help understanding how to use Windows or macOS? Do you need help understanding how to create folders? Where did you get confused? I can care less about a sub. I am looking to create helpful information so if you're stuck somewhere it would be good to know where your stuck

1 noobie question, how do you create the master premiere pro file in the 01_Premiere Pro folder (4:37) so that once you open it for a new project, all the files in the FOLDER STRUCTURE is in the media browser? (7:39)

Thanks for the video! I only recently started getting back into TH-cam and started creating Shorts so this is a very nice guideline to get me started. I'll probably dumb it down even further and skip out on some of the folders I don't find necessary but this is definitely a good starting point for me.

I recommend to switch windows theme to dark so you don't have white contrasting areas interfere with your editing and tiring your eyes. I keep everything in black including chrome and web pages. My eyes get much less tired.

      Dark theme is the best!

Hey, very interesting video, thank you for the tips! Just wondering, you managed to replicate your folder structure into bins in the project file at 8:37 - how did you do that? I can't seem to do it. Thanks again!

You have to that manually. But you can save that premiere folder structure as a template within premiere and/or as a project file you just copy and rename, so you only have to do that 1 time. EDIT: I was wrong, sorry. You fan simply drag the folder structure into premiere. Simple.

So i work off my macbook pro and my windows desktop at home, and I also have dropbox and multiple SSDs. How do you recommend keeping organization between all these platforms?

Funny you ask that I was just setting up my folder structure on my Google Drive for the new year! If you're uploading large files to drive I would highly recommend compressing them in there perspective project folder location and uploading them to make it faster to upload and download. I am still using this same file structure I mention just on google drive, SSD's and a macbook i just recenly aquoired.
      YEAR/SHOW/MONTH/PROJECT NAME/ETC...
Keeping the same structure across all your device will also make it easier to find files in the future you may need to reference back later on.

I have 1TB SSD and 1TB HDD. I'm new to editing and making YT gaming videos. This is my personal and only computer.
Davinci resolve playback is stuttery and I heard keeping the SSD less full of whatever helps programs like Davinci run better.
I'm trying to figure out exactly what should be stored on the SSD and HDD. I currently just have everything on the SSD. 340GB free of 932GB.
Also, you mentioned keeping the video you're working with on the fastest drive. So that'd be my SSD?
If I needed to work on a video that was on my HDD, how do I move it to the SSD?
Would I just copy or move it or is there more to it? I record with OBS. Should I set it to put recordings on the HDD?
