C’est quoi cette manie de vouloir montrer que « the American way of thinking is the best » ?

But let me tell you, I still find it frustrating as hell lmao. I'm not saying "change the language" in whatever way. It's more like "I still think it's kinda nasty for people who don't wanna conform" generally speaking.
The neutral gender can only exist for plural and for objects or other living beings here, never for people. So imagine how non-binary people feel here.
Idk, it's a true statement, sure. But I wouldn't pride myself on the fact that my language basically genders everything tbh.
Also gender norms, classifications of what's more "feminine" and what's more "masculine" as a word, and object, an activity etc. have existed even way before our languages did. I find gender norms and unnecessarily gendered stuff irritating much like other people do. I just don't really like things that unconditionally remind me of that.

In French most words that end with a vowel are usually female and wordt that end with a consonant are usually male. Many exceptions off course like le musée, le livre and la mer, but when I was learning French at school, when in doubt this was always your best chance to get it right. Anyway, that is why it's le vagin (and to cancel that one out the beard is la barbe)
In the series deranged point of view, pointing out this minor linguistic oddity is somehow a bold and admirable feminist statement. Well excuse me for pointing out there are women all over the word fighting every day, making great personal sacrifices, fot social, political and economic justice for women. That is feminism. The only black character used as a token character, and as another person was in awe of emily's "american thinking". Mindy, a KOREAN actress cast as a chinese character (which already shows how little the writers care), was just used as a voice to hurl insults and slander china and its people. The whole series was just another series made to glorify america, and basically just a vanity project.
