I tried Dual Pistols & Hand Blasters with Munitions + Acrobatics, then Rifle. All 3 of these Weapons worked well with my Munitions + Acrobatics build; but Rifle came up strongest for me by choice, the kit & moveset pair perfectly with Munitions & Acrobatics, bringing a run & gun style like Contra.

I don't use weapons othere than martial arts hand blaster or brawling because the way weapons spawn and vanish between combat and idle breaking imersion , Those 3 weapon types allow us to hide weapon in style tab, It doesn't matter how op bow or staff is bow only reluctently used because it's part of hand blasters mastery.
U used an combo for the blasters and not the pistols though I'm a healer and I like the pistols because of the 3 tap roll back and shoot and also because of the power return using water having power is one of my biggest problems it completely messes up the rotation and it has an huge Impact. with adds in the situation it's alot better than the blasters but without 1 on 1 the blasters are better but the pistols have combos for more damage too and the longer u hold the shooting button down for the pistols the more damage it does
Something you'll learn from DC Universe online or you can play Destiny the franchise is that there's no such thing as a top-tier class pick what you are comfortable with because any class just like any build in any open world game it's always going to be a good build you just have to build it correctly just like with the class for DC Universe Online you have to build the class correctly that benefits both survivability and dps. I have seen so many people who say oh you should only spec for tank or you should only spec for damage from the way I play open World Games you need to spec for everything for survivability and DPS. Think about it how do you expect to survive a boss fight for example if you constantly died but you have so much DPS because then you have to work on fixing your survivability how are you supposed to inflict damage if you're dying every 2 seconds that's why I both survivability and DPS goes hand to hand. I constantly try to explain people this kind of concept to people in DC Universe Online and all they do is get so pissed off and start cursing at people for no reason. It's like they only play DC Universe Online it's like they never play division too or Destiny or Anthem or any open world RPG game out there like Elder Scrolls Online

I weapons I seen people in dcuo used:
Handbasters, dual wield, brawler.
And if a close range like a tank:
One hand or shield

I like duel pistols with magic as I can put dots and pets on a enemy while dosing,if only I could stack more dots id add that to my kit.
