What do you think about disc only collecting? Acceptable? Or no way?
I got a bunch of loose disks, i collect to play not re sell
I'm a display-collector, I love seeing the games in a neat order. Discs just don't give me the same feeling.
The times I do buy loose, It's to complete a box+manual. Or when I need to switch out a scratched one.
@@swedendude32 I totally get it. And I've done a lot of that too. Upgrading the collection and what not. And two of the games I bought in this episode I think I have the boxes for. But I found my old cd books and thought, hell why don't I fill these with game discs I find? Wild hair I guess. Thanks for watching! (And I think I just had an idea...)
Nice pickups! Especially Bard's Tale! It's probably the game I laughed the most while playing it! Very clever humor! How can anyone refuse fun games at 1$ each, even if they're Disc only? I know I wouldn't! Great video and keep up the good work!
I realized after this I actually had the remaster of it free on PS4 download. I totally forgot. But oh well, Its still a cool piece at a good price. I downloaded the og trilogy on my Steamdeck do Im definitely enjoying that.

Dolla dolla bill games, now that's my jam! Great seeing RetroWolf and Owaz here! I've got a soft spot for DBZ but have played very, very few games. Though I did enjoy Legacy of Goku on GBA.
It's always cool seeing other creators on the hunt, and I really like watching them create on site. It's neat seeing videos being made in real time alongside the actual hunt!

It's really funny because I have never had to haggle at these events. And that's second nature to me. But the prices are always great and what's more, the stuff actually works!! Unlike the flea scavengings which are always a coin toss.

Awesome stuff Emceemur! Another good idea with loose disc games is putting them in a slim cd case and just print a cover for the game.

@@Emceemur yea my loose/copied Atari Jaguar CD games are on those slim cd cases. They save soo much space on the shelf. I do have to buy a pack of slim cases for my loose 3DO games tho.
Hey Mur, great video as always! I honestly can't believe these vendors are charging only $1 for the disc-only stuff. Also, yesterday I was watching a video of a popular video game youtuber who was scooping up some deals before a con opened and I saw in the comments that people seemed to be souring on the influencers/booth operators using this tactic. The sentiment being that it doesn't incentivize people to attend if the best stuff is purchased before the con opens. Curious about your thoughts on the topic either way!
Yeah, I think if early access is available it needs to be available to everyone. TH-camrs/special guests can have it so long as everyone else can also acquire it as an add on to their admission. Like a VIP ticket or something. I think that's a good recommendation and they'd likely implement it gladly. Good points made!

XIII? Oh, yell, yeah! What you picked up is the remaster (which I think also contains the OG), but a great espionage thriller if you enjoy story-based shooters. Do it!
It's a good looking game! I like the handling. I've always been recommended it so for a buck, it ain't gonna hurt to play this one a lil bit.
I would probably buy almost any game for a buck as well. Can't wait to see if those other games you took a chance on a few videos back were able to be resurfaced and work.
You'n me both. The Silent Hill freezes at loading screens. I knew it would but Im still gonna go get an industrial buff job on it. We'll look at that in an update soon!

Another great episode Mur. I'm a huge DBZ fan I've loved the franchise since I was a kid. My favorite game has to be shin Budokai 2 another road on psp. It's a little rare to totally worth keeping an eye out to flip PC currently has it at around $40
I have boxes and manuals for Budokai 2 and 3 but not the games! I found em at the flea market years ago but the discs were cracked!
@@Emceemur I hate that those things happen. Hopefully you can complete them sooner rather than later. They're great games for a DBZ fan and Budokai 2 had an interesting board game layout to the story mode.
Disc only a okay with me. I don't mind.
It's interesting because I know some folks pass on disc only copies even if the price is decent. And I get it. But I dug out my old Case Logic books recently and it got me thinking...
@@Emceemur For sure there are purists. But for me it's all about the game. I have a case filled with ps2 ps1 and there all loose.
Can I ask how do you find these events? I know many are not in my area, but they always look interesting.
This one I found by meeting the organizers at other events. But for events near you, you can Google "gaming events near me" or cons and generally it will pull up sites, even Facebook pages of smaller events if that's all they have. Just about everywhere has something going on these days.
