Hay. I had trouble getting there teeth healthy but, then I added hay to there bedding and now there teeth are great. I also had trouble getting them hydrated but then I put there water in a bowl.
Alice Animals I agree with this so much! Hay is a wonderful way to file down their teeth. Sometimes they’ll hear my voice and come out from the bedding with a long piece of hay between their mouth 😂
My favs right now are timothy hay, I found timothy hay twists which my boys love! They're not too interested in wood chews so I give them whimzee chews which other than the smell, I like them. I love the bendie bridges, theyre just so versatile. I missed the name of the nuts you showed in the video, what kind are they again? I live in Canada so sometimes its harder for me to find natural sprays of stuff. I did find millet spray for birds on amazon so im just waiting for it to come in the mail lol

But, I do have a rabbit, Austin (Holland lop male) I got him around a year ago so i didnt know about our move, if i knew i would have never gotton him, he was my first exotic animal and my only animal. My gerbils came from a home where they were kinda negleted (they didn't have toys, hideouts, the cage wasn't very good...), they are living now in a big bin cage, with lots of bedding and they are the sweetest babies ever. This week I bought them a 10 inch (25cm) wood wheel but they didn't use it, they evel look a bit scared when the wheel moves. It's been 5 days already. Will they learn to use it or should I take it off ther enclosure to free room for more hideouts and chew toys? (Próton is 1y and Neutron is 5 months)

I adopted my gerbil Milly in April, I tried so many different pairings for her I tried to put her with two other gerbils I tried to just do a pair but none of it worked she was aggressive towards all of them. I think this is because I adopted her when she was already three years old and she had never met another gerbil. What’s your opinion?

Hi! It’s a bit hard to tell if gerbils are overweight by eye, I would suggest weighing them! If you go over to my gerbil illness video I talked about normal sizes for adult females and males and how to weigh them. :) what are you feeding?
The gerri gerbil mix has a lot of dyes, but if you remove anything you’re taking out what makes the guaranteed analysis. Higgins sunburst and Cunipic Hamster & Gerbil are still 2% too high in protein but contain better quality ingredients, if you can’t make your own. I have a video on a homemade mix if you’re interested
Crispy Chicken I have a 63g tank and I use a divider instead of a topper :) it was definitely tricky getting it to work but some options could be thick wood with a slit somewhere so they can enter both sides without a problem, acrylic cut to size, or basically anything you can think of that would be safe for the gerbils 😅 tank toppers are definitely much easier though

How much money does it cost to keep up a good diet and cost for your gerbils? I don't mean to pry but I haven't been able to find a good list with costs.

If you're in the UK you could get a tictac all metal wheel ([edit]just found out they ship worldwide!), no rungs! Not open on the axel side! Not cheap, but 1 would easily outlast 2-3 wooden ones if your Gerbils chew them! ;) See here www.tictacwheels.co.uk/
Water bowls aren't always a good idea, as they can kick bedding in the water etc, unless you bowl is very well sheltered. Lots of good tips otherwise :) PS Mind your camera focus ;)

I think in this case, it’s okay to have her alone. It’s definitely harder with age, and I think you’ve done what you could!

Hello! Ive been looking and looking for some gerbils but i cant find any :/ where did you buy your gerbils/what stores should I look at?
You might have to look for ethical breeders online that may be near you! You can also look on Craigslist or Facebook groups for any you can adopt
