This was the first cruise ship we sailed on back in 2010, and at the time we thought it was huge! Been on her once since but we loved our time on Brilliance and would sail on her again in a heartbeat.
We have just booked Brilliance for July for our trip around Greece and Turkey. Cant wait. We prefer the smaller ships. We did a month sailing from Rome to Singapore on Legend of the Seas. Did LOS again to Alaska. This was around 2010 i think. Done Radiance between Singapore and Hong Kong twice. And cant remember the one we did to the Carribean. I think the worst embarkation for us was Miami. Took 3 hours. Not sure if it was because it was Carnival. Never again cruiseline for us.
We are sailing from New Orleans too ! We loved the Radiance class ships. I definitely prefer Royal to the other cruise line that sails from New Orleans.
I agree that this ship really needs an update. All of the furniture is worn and outdated. That being said, I loved how easy it was to get anywhere, and the crew was amazing. The food was on par with the oasis class ships.
Just got off from Alaska cruise. The crew was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter for the dining room was great. Getting from the luggage drop off to the ship was staffed by very helpful people. About every 50 feet was someone to point you in the right direction. The ship is aged and the furnishings need to be updated but otherwise everything is in great shape.
I dont know I guess it's just me but I cant sail on a ship thats over 10 years old. I hear there less crowed and that's awesome but I guess it's my OCD. Great video bro.
That’s fair- for me if I’m in a larger group it wouldn’t matter too much. But there are pros and cons for the difference sizes which I’m trying to capture in these videos!
Cruise ships-if cared for and updated, can sail the seas for up to 50 years. They have a mandatory dry dock for international inspection and recertification for sailing. All personal choices, glad we have so many ship classes and cruise lines to choose from. 😊👍 Happy sailings!
I am on Brilliance now. Sydney to Hawaii and loving it. 😊
I want to do that itinerary!
This helped a lot thank-you! Just came back from brilliance of the seas 7 nights to alaska it was wonderful thanks for all the information mate!
Glad you had a great time and this video helped!
