Nah they’re an amazing company. I personally bought the PS4 scuff impact and it’s work magic. I never had anything break so far. It’s been 7-8 months now. I can’t speak on this new controller tho

This is literally an Xbox Elite controller.. except it’s more expensive, breaks easier, and doesn’t have a good warrenty.
I have the elite and looks much better to swap part as they are magnetic

Looks nice. I hated the PS3 controller that came with my console SO MUCH, I had to buy a FUSION A controller to play with. It had the left stick and D-pad layout like an X-Box controller, it was MUCH larger and I liked it a lot. When the PS4 came out, FUSION A didn't make a controller for it, only for X-Box one. I like modded controllers so I bought a couple of scuf controllers and a couple of evil controllers, and they have the regular PS4 button layout. I thought it would take time to adjust but it was a pretty smooth transition and I actually think having the thumb sticks on the same horizontal plane is better. I'm a little surprised that scuf went with the X-Box layout on this new controller. I might try one, especially if they have the option of a "RING" on the D-pad. That's another feature on one of my scuf controllers that I really like and would HIGHLY recommend (especially if you have BIG hands like mine.) I'll have to look up these new scuf's and take a gander at them. Thanks for the review!
I love how you can swap out the faceplates & joysticks for a different color but why can’t we change the grey Share, Start, S1, S2, R1 & R2 buttons out for a different color?

Have you tried this on PC? I know you say it doesn't work and it'll be updated, but.. Dualshock's normally work on steam games now. So why wouldn't this work? I'm just confused on it.
Have you tried any other pro controllers? (i.e. Nacon Revolution Pro 2 or Razer Raiju)
I rather the PS4 thumb stick layout instead of the Xbox look up in the corner the two thumbs sticks next to each other on the standard PS4 controller is better

well this sucks.....the whole reason i got this was for AC Odyssey on PC (cause i feel a lot more comfortable with a controller than with m/kb). Thanks SCUF..........I sure hope that update comes out real quick. Guess i'll just have to use my raiju in the meantime

Here we go again, the people getting mad at the company because they dont know how to take care of their controllers. I have had my Scuf 4ps (1st version) for about 3 and half years coming up to 4 years and not a single problem.
Here we go again with the guy that hasnt had issues so that means there isn't a QC problem.
I've had two scuf 4PS controllers and both broke within a month of never dropping them and taking great care of them.

Just switched from Xbox to PlayStation a couple months ago. The only thing I miss is my elite controller. Microsoft has sunk their platform but controllers are the one thing they had right in my opinion. This reminds me a lot of the elite controller. I’m just curious about the quality and performance. Hope to see a review from you after you get some play time in here soon.

I watched the video without sound, from what I saw seems like *Scuf* doesn’t want to deal with repairs and is giving you all the tools to DIY 😆Having dealt with a dozen Scuf’s I know from personal experience they break often when used everyday. Their customer service is 😬 😅😒

I Have My Scuf infinity 4ps since like 2-3 years ^-^, But I Don't use the paddles I can't get into it like putting my fingers on the paddles, sometimes it works for games like Assassin's creed or Far Cry games for jumping but personally and especially not in call of duty unfortunately ..
Why is Trevor constantly moving the controller around at like lightning speed. I can barely see the details on the controller bc he's moving it so fast, just chill.
If I had PS4 instead of xbox id buy this controller purely for the stick placement being more like xbox's. but almost every other feature except the normal scuff paddles is a gimmick that will be of no use.

I don't really play COD anymore, and I already have 2 Scufs for PS4. But I think I'm gonna get myself one of these come tax return time. Because even though I've always played on PlayStation, I've always thought that Xbox had more comfortable controllers. And I suggested in an email like 4-5 years ago that Scuf should make a PS4 controller shaped like an Xbox controller. Their reply was basically that they had no plans to do that. Obviously they went to the design room and said "Look at all these requests for an Xbox style PS4 controller, let's make it happen".
Waiting for mine to be shipped out still. I ordered it almost a month ago. Scuf makes great products but both times I have ordered, it seems to be a major wait. If you want to get one for the holidays, order it now.
This is perfect Im thinking of buying a Playstation this Xmas and have been put off with the thumbsticks being a different layout to the xbox one controller but with this change I think it will be better changing back and forth from PS4 to Xbox

DO NOT BUY A SCUFF! Terrible product and even worse customer support. I got a scuff and a week in, my back buttons were not responsive. Scuff wanted me to pay them to fix it to. Such a joke. Invest in a elite controller or a Razar controller because they are a thousand times better than scuff. Only cool thing about scuff is customizing your colors on your controller but its not worth it

About a month ago, i bought a normal ps4 controller crystal (transparent) after about three weeks of use, the left stick stopped working well sorta, so basically when I run it stops randomly and it does it VERY repeatedly!! Anyone know how to fix this?
If controller niggas wanna spend $200 on a controllers just for a competitive edge maybe it’s worth looking into a pc. B4 anyone gets triggered I got both and I use both. But for FPS I use pc
I would use the side buttons for the quick menu in bo4 br. Can you map the paddels to to two buttons like the strike pack? Your also misleading your subscribers. Those customisations don't come with that for 200 it's another 30 and you only get enough to do one customize. And it's unclear if you get your original parts included so you can swap it back.
Question: How is a scuf behaving on a PC? Are we able to use different keybinds on ALL buttons or is it just, that you reallocate the front buttons to the pedals? I am curious, because I need a new pad for PC and I can only see really decent information on a xbox elite controller, which goes nuts with being able to get customised on PC however you want.
So...do those buttons register as different buttons on a pc, so that you can fully use them instead of just allocate buttons around?
Scuff sucks. Shifty warranty, customer service sucks ass, over priced controller, just customize your original controller and works just fine. But I guess when it's free it's cool.
I don't know why they would change the thumbsticks around it just looks like an Xbox controller and personally I love PS4 because of the position if the thumbsticks
This controller is NOT* Officially Licensed with Sony, it does not turn your playstation off by the controller and is not useable to play on PC as it does not have the supported drives which in my eyes are 2 big factors to miss out even tho I don't play PC.
I just bought this controller. Just be sure to update to the latest firmware before using it. Many have complained about deadzones which did exist before the latest firmware update. So far I like the controller and bought the wired only controller since I see no use of playing wireless and I saved a few bucks.
To bad their customer service sucks. I pre ordered in may. Was supposed to get it in August, people that preordered later were to get it in September, October. Of course I got an email saying sorry but you ain't getting your controller. Guess you have to be special and get them for free. Paying customers get screwed.

Anyone else notice at 3:52 the left thumb stick gets stuck and he literally just unboxed and it’s already showing issues that I’ve never had with a normal DualShock. I ordered this back in July and this makes me very weary
The only reason why I haven't switched to PS4 is because of the controller. I like the paddles on the Elite & it is so much more ergonomic, so I'll stay with Xbox

friend, I had 2 scuf impact and I noticed that they always came with a problem ... the analog base of them always leaned against the control housing which makes impossible a precise look. Can you tell me if this one also has this problem?
why were the thumbsticks so sticky already? they kind of ripped off microsoft with being able to just magnetically take stuff on on and off whenever.
