    If he had to do it over again he’d do the very same thing. If you want to be as good as Greg then you put in the time.

      Exactly. The real "sacrifice" would have been to have not gotten married and started a family in the first place. At least not until your career was winding down; assuming that option was still a viable one. This way i.e. the way that he and most men do it, they get 'to have their cake and eat it too'.
      Of course, well after the fact, these same self-absorbed sorts will, in a desperate plea for some form of absolution, claim that if they only had it to do over again that they'd have "spent more time with the family".

    A lot of executives, doctors, lawyers etc. devote huge hours to their careers also.

      Jack won 18 majors and never missed a night spent with his wife.
      Some guys put family aside for a lifetime of second place finishes

    Hmmm. Conflicting comments there. First he said if had put family first, his family maybe wouldn't have the working opportunities they have today, which is putting career first. Then he said he'd do it differently if he had a second go at it, which is putting family first.

      he did not sacrifice them. he has them with him everyday. do you? do they work for you? do they have millions from you? it was a temparay setback for a permanent future.

    The interviewer has the creepiness of a televangelist. He's only interested in the negative aspects of all the people he interviews
