3. This morning I had *_[a]_* meeting with my boss. An article *(a, an, or the)* is a type of determiner. Possessive adjectives - _(my, his, our),_ possessive nouns - _(Jacob's, mother's),_ and quantifiers _(each, every)_ are also determiners. Single-countable nouns usually require a determiner.
@@muthiahs2236 It's interchangeable; either/or works. Neither is incorrect; the hyphen '-' creates a compound word which acts as an adjective which describes a noun in the sentence. Singular refers to something more unique, one-of-a-kind or odd - Single as in one or unattached; unmarried.
@@muthiahs2236 But in all fairness, you're right! I could've used singular without the hyphen. So, I appreciate your challenge - It forced me to do some impromptu research (haha), so thank you. I don't mind being corrected (especially) if I'm in the wrong!
Article doesn't require here.Out of the context,I had meeting in this sentence could be having worth adjective semantic. You should say a meeting along with a noun phrase. For instance:During a meeting that I had with him at your house,he explained to me the fact behind himself personal life.
Hi there, i need you to tell me what is the right way to ASK for combination of colours; for example: what is the combination of yellow and blue? It's green. But my doubt is, Can we use the word combination or MIXING? because for me, one can use mixing when you write the final colour in the question; for example: what is the mixing of pink? It's red with white. So, i would like you to teach us, what is right-wrong, or if there is/are one(s) way(s) to ask this kind of questions. Thanks before-hand. Javier from Mérida-Venezuela
Mam, Thanks a lot your vedios are really really helping us, to be fluent in english, thanks a lot great job, and we are learning so much, it is very helpful
'I met John two years ago.' ― capitalise the 'j' in 'John' as it's a name which is a proper noun (you should always capitalise proper nouns - names, places, locations) and remember to pluralise 'years'.
Mam.. don't make a noise. Or don't make a sound . Make .noice. are uncountable noun or countable .please answer me .why there is used a. Because you told that A not used before the time because this is uncountable noun.

Also! You incorrectly wrote my sentence - I wrote "Single-countable nouns"; that hyphen makes all the difference.

This is a useful video. However, if I am not wrong, we need to use the indefinite article ' a' before 'meeting ' in senence 3.
