Build the row boat and fish off it. I make 30K to 40K every time I go out to do it. I dont understand why so many people say it is not lucrative. I make most of my profits from fishing. TIP: Tapping the reel button seems to turn the fishes head faster. Not sure if this is a mechanic, but I catch a load of fish and it is using that method. Remember to tap fast. When the fish is pulling away, fast tapping will not deplete the tension meter.
For some reason tons of turkeys spawn near my town so what I did is got my hunting license up to level 2 and you can two tap turkeys with the copper spear. Uses very little energy and cooked turkey leg sells for 700 a piece. I average 100k a day just with hunting.
I have found that after a few in game days you should quit to main menu and reload so all the fish and insects respawn. If you do enough jobs for john he'll give you the blueprint for the sign.
This game is so fun!! Even though the house is super expensive lol i like how paying for it upfront kind of forces you to learn about all the different resources in the game.
@@grav2H2011 Eh, rushing metal detecting nets you a lot quicker money, saving the keys and research discs and selling everything else I had made roughly 900,000 by like day 7 or 8, the first day I had metal detecting I had enough money to pay off both the shop and museum construction costs with enough money left over to have spare shovels and pickaxes for when they constantly break. Fishing takes too much time and is unreliable because you can waste an entire day on common fish. Metal detecting nodes spawn at a fairly decent rate, I have found more buried treasure than I have even seen butterflies.

I don't know about you but I do not consider day 7 mid game, I still consider that very early game, like yeah sure you need to get Johns shop in town which takes a few days to build so you can't really start till about day 4 but once you do it is quick easy money. Before you get Johns shop in town I would say bugs are quicker money than fish since you can catch a lot more bugs in a lot less time using a lot less energy, but yes metal detecting isn't something you can do on day 1, but it is still something you can do early game, get Johns shop open even if it puts the town in major debt then make back all the cost of the shop within 5 minutes of having the detector. If you would consider not being able to make extra profits, off the already good profits, research discs till you get lucky and have the researcher visit as not viable till mid game, then I would consider fishing not viable till mid game as well because it requires either a lot of exiting and rebooting the game to get new fish to spawn or being able to craft a boat to make extra profits just like metal detecting you make more money once you can use the research. Both require something to make extra profits, but both are extremely good money makers even extremely early game, the difference being that the stuff you want to not sell from metal detecting early on makes major profits later while as fishing has no extra boon later and as such is slower even early game since you need those keys and research discs and getting them as you are making money off everything else just saves you a ton of time once you do reach the mid game.
I really wouldn't recommend selling your ore or metal bars, since you need it for crafting. I'm pretty sure the rocks don't respawn, so it's not like plants or trees that regrow after a few days. Once you've used up all your surface ore, you'll have to go into the mine to gather more, and that requires a new mine key every time you enter. Speaking of the mine, save all the old keys you find to open locked doors in the mine. Another tip for metal detecting is to not bother buying the detector. Just save up 2500 permit points and then buy both ranks of metal detecting at the same time. Then you don't need to buy a metal detector at all. You'll see to places you can dig up stuff as X marks on the ground even without one.
The metal detector is dirt cheap lasts an extremely long time before breaking and allows you to find a lot more nodes a lot quicker because while the level 2 makes SOME of the nodes visible without a detector you still find them a lot quicker using it allowing you to get dozens of nodes a day for upwards of hundreds of thousands of dink a day, it literally pays for itself within about 5 minutes of use.

While yes you will need a lot of those resources later on when you are fixing certain things in the game, metal detecting constantly respawns new nodes, you could clear everything out near your house and right when you finish one node another spawns in the exact same place. Using just metal detecting I made like 900,000 by day 6, saving all the keys and research discs and selling everything else since the nodes respawn real quick I am not worried about saving anything that is required to fix the towers around the building.
Digging is definitely the way forward if you just want cash. I dug up a 3kg limp of amber worth over 30,000! It's kind of boring though so definitely worth mixing it up.
I accidentally settled my town in the middle of a croc spawn area so my townies are running all the time but them gator teeth sell for tons of $$$ I hade a stack of 100 and went from struggling to finally opening stuff up it was a good boost for sure
@Kang how did you increase your health and stamina bars? You don't mention it in the video and I can't find anything online. Does it come with a licence, is it clothing?
Eating certain food will temporarily increase your health and stamina! You can hover over the food to see what it does! Usually cooked meats will do it

if the creatures break out of the trap, you just need to bring their health down a little bit and then trap them

I never played animal crossing, just wasn’t my cup of tea but this game gives more of a survival aspect and it’s more fun to just jump in and start!
Fishing is the fast way makes money. 1 day you can earn 20k-40k

Pay attention to the ground , there are some "x" marks. There are a lot of things underground.

Go for fishing at night, go for barracuda. It's 16k each or something. Well ofcourse it's only in 1 season.(forgot what season)
Autumn and Spring you can find Tuna at night in the oceans, those are around 24k each.
I just started playing and found out that crocodile teeth sell for over $3,000 each... I thought that was great till I saw you sell a sign. Good find!

You need to just do things in the game to get permit points then talk to Fletch! Anything really, chop trees, mine stones/ore, etc.
You should not sell Tin or Copper both are needed for basically anything.
