This is probably the best interview so far… you can tell this man knows his stuff. I’m working my way towards this space of mastery!!

The book is on my table right now, using it for reference for directing first indie feature

I liked collaboration with the DP to prepare for the shoot. My studying acting for 18 years helped me tremendously when working with the actors!!

this is a lot of things my DP did for my Sizzle reel. it's beautiful. my DP recommended me to read ASC (American Society Cinematography) I read their 700 page book this month with a book on directing actors (I actually started acting before writing or directing) I lol earned a lot in terms of shot selection and color. I'm just craving to shoot my next film but I'm so broke 🫠

Wow.. mutiny? 31:10 That can happen? I am a first time director getting ready to shoot in a few weeks, never thought that could happen in film.. lol.. I am singer and rock musician and I thought bands were bad.. that is, I will form a band and painstakingly put the right people together and one person there would have come in like a trojan horse and then proceed to turn the entire band against me (the singer) and take over the band and eventually kick me out.. lol.. happens all the time in bands.. but I would have never thought that could happen on a set! Aren't the actors supposed to listen to the director? Don't they have to stick to the script? How could a director possibly loose control like that?
