Damn! I’m stoked that I randomly came across this video! Something as simple as this would have made my life so much easier in the past years of forming up for concrete walls! And the worst thing of all is that i always had something almost identical sitting in my workshop at home! 😂 I’ve got a 20mm threaded rod similar to this for pressing bearings into bmx frame bottom brackets, and not to mention that there’s literally tonnes of these Z-bars around when putting up wall shutters, and it never once crossed my mind! Something so simple would have spared many a fight between work mates 😂 you really know your s**t dude! Props for sharing your wealth of knowledge with the world! 🤙🏻
I love the flats on the sides deff stealing that one. Thanks brother Local 399 South Jersey 💪
TomLovesHisSofa yeah I thought that was rad when I saw it! Thanks for watching subscribe for more work safe brother
For the threads getting fouled, chainsaw file works great. As for the Warrior’s Stadium, I was there for a little passing time with SME. I think we’re going to have to get together one day. Might be able to show you a trick or two.
Did you happen to work on the new Raiders stadium?
Love your videos man!! Thanks for the trick/tip!! I’m out of Local 86 in Seattle!!

What contractor did you steal those clamps from,I see they are painted
I painted them because I was working in a shop with a friend and I wanted all my stuff distinguished
Did you really say "mexican comealong"...LMAO!!!!!
keith holder did I go to far? Hahaha
Stumbled on to ur videos and gotta say Respect ✊!!! Knowledge in The Grave is Wasted!! Help Me Help You! Be The difference! God Bless🗽🇺🇸
Jeremy Welch thanks man! That’s really encouraging!!! Work safe out there!!!! And subscribe for my content! I post frequently
Chantz Fabz Thanks Man! Idk What I’m gonna Do for pay right now in life Recently parted ways with The company I’ve been with for 5yrs. Boilermaker/welder and Hang Iron when called for but anymore the older gen don’t want to pass knowledge down they would rather make you feel stupid for not knowing things. I started late in life in this trade at 28 but had carpenter experience very young age so once I felt my knowledge with wood was decent I went to Metal. And for Me playing with Fire is way more fun. I am what some would call a Journeyman but I don’t feel I have earned to call myself that yet. I truely am lost on what my next move is at this point might just get a 9to5? Even tho I love The Road life!! Not sure if all things Considered is for Me anymore. The Drugs a lot of ppl do makes work even more dangerous than already is. I’m No Saint but C’Mon some shit is out of hand with some ppl and Safety is My main concern for Myself and My Brothers and Sisters of The Trade! I don’t tell on ppl so might just be best to move along to some gravy 9to5 being 39yrs old I still have drive to get the fuck up on it! But the company I was working for really did Me kinda Dirty so.. we will see what is my next page or chapter in the book of life! But You seem together and savy! I feel You will go far and earn your respect! You got Mine.Stay Safe and looking forward to more of ur videos!! Sub+1
Jeremy Welch JOIN THE UNION!!!! Where are you located?
@@ChantzFabz Tampa FL. Not really sure about the union thing. I mean I've heard Good and Bad. The pay your dues thing scares me if I happened to not get enough work. I've got apps. And resumes out but most places are Word of Mouth anymore.
Jeremy Welch pay your dues? It’s $40 I make that in an hour
I personally do not like the bolt being welded. Because in a tight spot you need the quick bolt adjusted to fit.
Yeah I hear you loud and clear on that one
Can you make a video on bolting up? Like tricks and basics to kind of get the idea of the concept behind it
Cesar Trejo yeah man will do
Just been really busy lately
@@ChantzFabz make sure you show the sleever in the hole and spud prying down
1) Loosen bolts.
2) Drive bullpen.
3) Tighten bolt next to/above the bull pin.
4) Remove bull pin, stick bolt.
What would charge for one of ur ultimate sleever bars
keept 1 in my bag since day 1
Cool Shovelhead.
Ob Fuscated thanks I needa ride it more often haha
Like your videos should make a video on ironworkers best boots local 433
Cesar Calderon thanks man, and the boot video should be out soon!!!
“Mexican come along”😂
377 in the house!
Welcome brother
Its coils rod cement Mason 592 Philadelphia
Like your show
It's called a coil bolt and is used much in the erection of pre cast.
You mean when you have a point that is a little harder than others. You said when you can't make a point. Never found one I couldn't make. Might have to take a lull and push column over about 4 ft but I made the point
Genius.
"the quickest bolt in the local" 😂
Heck yeah man! Hahaha
You’ll still fuck up the treads even if you have two flat sides
808 love brother 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for watching
Do you drink before you film? It seems like you have a hard time getting your words out sometimes
Dillon Miller no, I’m not a big drinker I have a drink here or there but I’m never drunk haha
Probably just me messing up my bad
He's an arnweker, not an prayer. Lol
Correction; arnwerker.
I'm not sure how that got screwed up so bad. Should read; he's an arnwerker, not an orator. Lol
Ever heard of dywidag rod ? Already has coarse threads, flattened sides and come in lengths like 20’. Around 5/8 thickness. Ask a concrete guy if he has any laying around
Yeah I’ve heard of that I’m pretty sure this is the same stuff haha
@@ChantzFabz I can send you a picture tomorrow. That’s just coarse thread rod. Or google dywidag rod. We use it for custom length ties in concrete columns, pilasters, buttresses, and corbels in peri forming and wood forming. Pair together with a plastic sleeve allows us to pull them an re use them.
@@ChantzFabz you do make very good videos even though I’m a concrete carpenter always willing to learn. 👊🏽
It's an ADJUSTABLE, crescent is a brand... LOL!!! 😉🤙
Tony Robles hahahaha yeah 12in adjustable my bad
So I guess the quick bolt isn't the strongest bolt? It all gets welded anyway huh?
Haha defiantly not the strongest bolt but it’s not a permanent bolt it’s just to make the connections as a connector
Do you think that grinding the side make the thread weaker ?
I work on 1’’ 5/8 bolt on a bridge atm
Mexican 🤟🏾💯
Mexican come along hahahahahah 💯
It is what it is brotha hahaha
