The way you and Colt integrate the artistic views of your lives in transition with your video sponsors is beyond me, this video told an amazing story along side being sponsored by headspace. Hope y'all continue to bring this new light into the TH-cam space and inspire everyones creative side within this platform :)
It's great seeing other creators on the platform use your videos as a way to show how TH-cam is slowly shifting. Your vidoes have this post-pandemic slow approach to life to them and I'm here for it 🙌
Went on 6 solo trips abroad this year and honestly visiting new countries solo and meeting new people really opens your eyes to experiences you miss out on when following the crowd. Glad you enjoyed your time in the cottage :)
@@ethan-scott I would personally recommend walking tours, when I go abroad solo I go for 1 walking tour and see if I meet anyone whilst learning about the city. The bonus with this is at the end of the tour the guide will 99% recommend a restaurant where you can go if any other solo travellers are on the tour. Alternatively try to push your comfort zone and stay in hostels, cheaper and less privacy but great for making friendships along the way.
Nova Scotia is my favourite province in Canada. It's hard to describe, but there's this amazing combo of calm and adventure. So many peaceful outdoor experiences.
Working a stressful job helped me appreciate solitude. This clip is filled with ideas of what I can possibly apply to my own life; such as, visiting a local coffee shop with a journal or simply cleaning up my space for an uncluttered mind. Thank you for these lessons and reminders!
There's nothing wrong with traveling solo. It helps to take a break from people and do things at your own pace without the pressure of everyday life. Sounds like it was pretty amazing. Nice video.

Riza you posted this video just at the right time. I'm at a point of my life where there's no one for me and hence I decided to explore solitude. You are my biggest inspiration Riza❤
The way you tell stories is so real and relatable. So refreshing in a culture distracted by more superficial things. Your approach is refreshing af, keep inspiring, I can't say it enough!!!!
4 years of working, quick break in between, burnt out. Thanks to my colleague for sharing your video, it reminded me to spend time with myself. That last I had a quick solo trip was last year. Long drive, I miss it very much. You've inspired me once again. Thanks to that colleague too!
Love how a little think-time solo escape had a nice story, and was so well captured to make it feel refreshing. Seeking solitude, or a break from routine doesn't alway require traveling far away. Finding a new location from usual routine be it a coffee shop, or park can bring a fresh perspective. Alternatively a 1.-3 day getaway at local rental can provide a bit of adventure and fresh environment away from routines.
I just found you like a week ago and my life has already changed. You offered ne another perspective of things and of life. Made me feel better about myself. Made me rethink mg deepest beliefs. And in the end, made me feel good about myself and the world around me. And somewhat a bit simpler, I love the cinematography in your videos! Gives them a truly unique experience. Thank you, Riza.
Something so magical about travelling on your own. It's one of those shifts I hope to see in the coming years where this becomes more normalized. It's great to travel with others and all, and in an ideal world, you get to do both. But some isolation and time where you HAVE to just THINK... that's where the magic lies, for introverts and extroverts alike (and everyone else on the spectrum). So good to see you gain clarity from your trip; a great way to end the year ❤
I try to get a way like this at least a couple of times per year. It is a great feeling to step out of your life and look back at it from "the outside", and reflect on the direction you are going.
Finding you on TH-cam was the best thing that has ever happened to me...thank you Kariza for making me believe that life is so much more than what I really thought it would be
Honestly, Everything about your videos give me inspiration and just a feeling I can’t explain. The breathtaking shots and beautiful lighting just feels like a breath of fresh air. You are someone I look up to as a role model for the building of my own life, If I struggle with anything throughout my days your videos clear my mind. Thank you! from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time and dedication in each story you share to the world. 😊❤️
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,495 subs and > 1,000 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
@@InnerPeaceSounds Thank you! What I really focus on is the value of the content and what I’m truly passionate about while helping others! I'm glad that I'm foolish enough to believe that I can actually start making money through my passions. I've never thought that I'd be able to gain more than 2k subs faster. I can't imagine how many opportunities could have been wasted if I didn't have courage to go after them. That includes having this channel, being in a management role, having the people who actually care about me for who I am, freelance gigs, being an ambassador in a creative community and now I'm also planning on honing my public speaking skills through joining a toastmaster club and these all happened in 2023. It started with writing them all down on a piece of paper. A paper that serves as a reminder for me to go after what I want even through hard times. I'm not bragging about my accomplishments but simply hoping that this message can also inspire others to believe in themselves.
Hi Kariza 👋, I remember I used to feel awkward about myself and the thought of enjoying my own company when I was younger. But what I’ve learned about spending time alone is that I get to really dig deep and reflect on who I truly am as a person and what I want for myself and my life. Like you said at 10:46, we see who we are when we’re not around anyone else and in a place where no one knows us. I’d like to add that in an interesting way, we also realize that we know ourselves better than the people who know us. It looks like you enjoyed your think week, and maybe you learned a lot more about yourself while you were at it. (I hope you did both! 😁) Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗
Your videos are a work of art. Packed with stunning visuals and a beautiful message! So glad you got to do this think week and were able to share it with us.
I need to travel. It's been almost 2 years since I took a decent vacation and I miss not being always tied to a strict routine. Not being bombarded with the thoughts of work the first thing when I wake up is such an amazing and relaxing feeling.

You are right, about solitude and the importance of keeping with your own pace in life, even if it means you have to pause and stay away from the noise until you hear yourself again. Wishing you the best of the things that you love to do Riza! ❤

I really like the idea of a "think week". My last trip I went on I started reading again and ideating a bit, and then as soon as I came home I just completely stopped doing all those things and went right back to where I was previously.. The idea of having a full week to get away from everything and ruminate with your thoughts and spark possible creativity by eliminating distractions and being more present while trying to absorb and process new information and ideas is really attractive to me. Thank you for this video, I'm so happy I discovered your channel. You just release banger after banger video.
Super curious about this: How distracting was it for you to record this video while being on your think week? I appreciate how much effort goes into each of your videos and they probably take more than a day or two to plan, write, create and edit which „takes away“ time on your thinking week or how is your view on this? 🥰
Peace be upon you, Riza. I'm a recent subscriber to your channel and feeling blessed to come to know of it from a Friend. Solace is bliss, indeed! Thank you for your positively distinct artistic cinematography!
My 2 takeaways from this video: 1. I need a think week 2. Banana Bread is essential Haha but in all seriousness as someone who is working as a full-time video editor, this is something I never knew I needed nor was it something I knew existed. I've had so many thoughts and so many ideas running through my head the past year but I never really took the time to just sit down and de-clutter. But yeah thank you for sharing this and thank you for your inspiring message at the end! The way you use cinematography and editing to enhance your storytelling is something I am inspired by :)

What a time to see this video. I'm planning a pretty big solo trip for myself around my birthday in a few months and I'm feeling the same way you did going into your think week. It was nice to see your journey in a well put together video that makes me excited to get mine going!
I've been thinking lately about how we perceive enjoyment in the company of others. This year I have been learning to be comfortable in my own company and just not have to rely on others to appreciate things and most importantly, to accommodate for yourself. Thanks for the video.
Riza's solo trip video is so inspiring! It shows how taking time for ourselves to think and reflect can be incredibly rejuvenating. Love the idea of a "think week" 🌿🧘♀✨

I love how you color-grade your videos. I've been binge-watching your content lately since I'm planning to start documenting myself as well as being a dad. I want to document moments with my family. extra: any tips on colorgrading? :D
i've been watching you for a while now and seeing you do your think week in my hometown feels so crazy yet comforting. you're videos inspire me so much, i love love love this!
SPending time by one self can be both nerve wrecking (in the beginning and if one isn't used to it), and then I feel like the space around me expands. It might sound strange and a bit "woo-woo", but it's like all the things in every day life backs off a little and gives ones soul more room to stretch and be.
Congratulations on 500K! I have been binging your content for DAYS. lol I saw you mentioned here that you write down questions..are you asking yourself questions? Just wondering what writing down question does for you in general. Anyway, I hope you see my message buried in the other 500 lol :)

I love, love, love how this video shows a lot more of your personality 💜I really admire your craft, even more so now. I can't wait to see more from you.
Deleting social media off of your phone is so key for a trip like this. I had done one week a year in the past when traveling with family. This year I took 30 days off of it and yeah I need to do more of that. Enjoying the video.

The reflections at the beach felt like a great ending to a movie. Great reminders. Thank you!
I've been thinking lately about how we perceive enjoyment in the company of others. This year I have been learning to be comfortable in my own company and just not have to rely on others to appreciate things and most importantly, to accommodate for yourself. Thanks for the video.
Hope you enjoyed your time in Nova Scotia! It was such a treat seeing my province in your video!
Riza's solo trip video is so inspiring! It shows how taking time for ourselves to think and reflect can be incredibly rejuvenating. Love the idea of a "think week" 🌿🧘♀✨
girl your videos ARE meditations for me

The genuine simple beauty of your video is just amazing, sharing the magic that is in feeling comfortable with our self-company, is so inspiring, and is a message that needs to be spread to everyone nowadays.
your video is an inspiration fount, thank you so much Riza.
I'm really just inspired by you. Every time you release a video, it always excites me.
loooove headspace! was wondering if that’s the app you were using as soon as the first shot of you meditating showed up. love your content as well!! gives me such a soothing feeling.
I’m a day late because I want to be in a comfortable state before watching this. It’s like how you prepare the atmosphere and setting before reading a book. I love this Riza! U r such an inspiration. ❤️
a think week.. what a brilliant idea! this is definitely something i'm going to plan for myself :)
Go for it!
wow this whole vlog just hits home incredibly
Tried to vlog one time in a similar way that you do and that’s when I knew that the shots you take are in another level! Great vid, big fan of your skills.
If you wonder if it ever gets better… it does 🥹
I LOVED the message! Thanks for another very calming, beautiful and touching video 🫶🏽
I love how you color-grade your videos. I've been binge-watching your content lately since I'm planning to start documenting myself as well as being a dad. I want to document moments with my family.
extra: any tips on colorgrading? :D
This is beautiful!! Loved it motivated me more to go to my solo trip this week from NYC to Rhode Island
"if it ever gets better?"
"IT DOES"

i've been watching you for a while now and seeing you do your think week in my hometown feels so crazy yet comforting. you're videos inspire me so much, i love love love this!
absolutely loved watching this- it’s inspiring me to take a “think week” of my own in the new year :)
I absolutely love your videos! They increase my love for capturing life and creating content.
Thank you!!! And yes questions that I’ve been thinking about, problems I need to solve, ideas I’ve been pondering for future projects/goals etc :) sometimes you don’t need answers yet but the right questions first! x
@@LifeOfRiza love thissss. I completely understand. Thanks for responding! Xx 🤍
the only youtuber for whom i don't do 2x speed because i don't want to miss anything
I love, love, love how this video shows a lot more of your personality 💜I really admire your craft, even more so now. I can't wait to see more from you.
Love seeing how other Filipinos are creative. Big fan 🎉
Deleting social media off of your phone is so key for a trip like this. I had done one week a year in the past when traveling with family. This year I took 30 days off of it and yeah I need to do more of that. Enjoying the video.
so glad i stumble upon your channel. you videos are very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. keep up the good work
