The Yugas, Sri Yukteswar and the Movement of Consciousness

- In a rare teaching, Master Yogiraj Siddhanath explains the deeper, spiritual meaning of the cyclic yugas of Humanity and our individual yugas as given in Sri Yukteswar's book, "The Holy Science". The four Yugas are often depicted as sole dependent on the movement and physical position of the earth, the planets, the stars. Master Yogiraj explains that this material computation is incomplete. In the presence of the Master, we are all in the Golden Age, Satya Yuga, regardless of the physical position of the earth and the stars. It is the movement of consciousness, the evolution of Consciousness, it is consciousness that travels and makes its yuga at the proper time, the speed of the travel of consciousness.

We have cycles of time, okay. Now, I have always believed that the Yugas, Satya Yug, Dwarpa Yug, Treta Yug, you know, Kali Yug, Dwapar Yug, Treta Yug, and Satya Yug. These are the four cycles of time, where human souls pass through and they evolve to subtler innovations, to subtler idealologies, to more spiritual, to more spiritual, you know, behavior. The Yugas are lengthened and shortened by the degree of concentration of that individual soul. So there is a cyclic Yuga which is of humanity and there is an individual yugas which you go through very fast. They say when you are in the presence of a master, you're in the Golden Age.
When you're before the Satguru you're always in the Golden Age. You see his golden aura, you see the purple star of the east, you're enveloped in the white golden light is what a few people saw. All of us were in that envelope, what does that mean? You're all in the Golden Age. You're in a different dimension with the master. You're not in a material dimension. You're in a spiritual dimension. So, they were saying that, some people said that, oh, we have to adjust these Yugas according to the mechanical mathematics which we respect. My experience of this is totally different. The human evolution is fulfilled, let us say, if you take it materially. The speed of light is 300 hundred thousand kilometers per second. 300 hundred thousand kilometers right? The masters have fulfilled this awful condition that they have broken the space time continuum. For Lahiri Mahasaya has said of Babaji, "Today I have seen the conqueror of death, today I have seen the Lord of Death, for Him no time nor space exists. And He is the holder of the keys of heaven and hell."
I am living in 318 years in ascending Dwapar Yuga, by my Guruji Paramahansa Yogananda, Swami Sri Yukteswarji.

I have known a siddha GuruJI. A very old man who allowed me and 25 others to see Him casting away his gross Body/He chawed his subtle body into fire and became a very big Giant/ After that with speed of light , just like a rocket He disappeared in the sky. Before this I saw Him a few days before sitting under a tree. He smiled silently to me and never spoke a word. I can only say the He was superhuman
