    The Freestyle by Samsung is one of the most compact, versatile, and fun projectors that I've ever used -- by bringing a big screen experience that can be instantly setup basically anywhere. It was just announced at CES 2022 and I've been able to use it for a while for watching shows and playing games. See how this little projector does big things for yourself!

    Just bought a Xgimi halo last year lol! I knew projectors were going to get big sooner or later. It’ll never replace TVs but I’m glad Samsung is bringing some innovation and attention to the market. If it ever goes on sale, I’d consider picking this one up. Also the gaming point is interesting, I’m not a serious gamer but the lag on a projector tends to make it feel a little clunky. The mini HDMI is a little bit of a let down but makes sense
    Edit: I realized the Halo has a gaming mode but it makes the colors a bit ugly!

      Well I would consider the design to be quite innovative in the sense that competitors should imitate it
      It could easily spawn a new generation of pico projectors that are less top heavy and no longer need tabletop tripods
      It could also make larger flashlights more attractive to the average consumer since they then would be seen as makeshift stage lights for the living room

      Where did you get that it's only 230 ANSI lumens? I'm still confused with these marketing lumens terminologies but I thought LED lumens around the same as ANSI already.
      My guess is this will be around as bright as Philips PicoPix Max or maybe a bit dimmer which is pretty bright for its size but we really can't expect any portable projector of this size to be usable on a well lit room.

    This does look really awesome I think if Samsung release this product sometime in 2022 in the UK this will definitely be on my tech list of things to get this year for sure - I only have one issue though and that's the bulb life which is something Samsung haven't exactly said - wouldn't the bulb die out on this thing? Or is it only powered by the powered consumption plug that comes with the device meaning the bulb will never die out?

    • @XxXStoneFingerXxX
      @XxXStoneFingerXxX 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not exactly sure what you mean, the bulb itself surely outlives the device. If you ask about runtime, this device has no built-in battery. It’ll be powered via USB-C; external batteries/powerbanks need to support PD of at least 50W. 30000mAh give 3 hours of projection iirc.

    • @AninoNiKugi
      @AninoNiKugi 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wow really? Wait just adding more pixels can increase the price to more than 1k?
      1080p display resolution has been around for sometime now and is getting annoying that tech companies still make 1080p display when mobile phone cameras and other new cameras are now shooting 8k videos. How long do they want to talk to finally say goodbye to 1080p displays.

    Cool. Does anyone knows how long the lamp will last, and how much is a lamp replacement?

      LED projectors are usually rated 10-30k hours so basically, you'll never need to replace them. It'll most likely break before the lamp dies 😄

      @@AninoNiKugi that's reassuring but I'm still wondering if replacement is possible. Also any idea on length of warranty? I've bought tech in the past that has malfunctioned past warranty so the possibility for repair is absolutely necessary to me imo

    1080p , only 230ANSI , no built in battery, and as for the price lol. Much better options out there.

    Does anyone have experience with projecting onto the center of a ceiling when the projector is not placed exactly in the center of the surface?

    Sorry guys I messed up I thought you can't watch up to 100 inches I misunderstood Joshua what he meant was he was watching around 75 inch but this product looks great considering the size but the low lumens count and contrast ratio it needs to have a dark room

    Is it support edge blend? What's the ANSI lumens?

    • @dcast777
      @dcast777 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      230 ANSI Lumens, quite low for a projector of this price. Many are cheaper and brighter.

    looks good. but cables coming out the side spoils the look.
