Found out my local kayak shop here in Fort Laudedale, FL is a Jackson Dealer !! Had a Cuda 12 and 14 there. Was sold on the 14 at first, but after sitting in the 12....I may be getting that one instead ! Still love the 14 though. Can you all do custom colors on the Cudas? Seeing as it's made in America I am really thinking...red, white, and blue!! Keep the videos coming !!
well im a big kid looking for something i can fish anywhere in and catch any size fish i love live bait fishing and somethingwith alot of space for camping but all i see is a special kayak for this and a kayak for that is there a kayak for kinda all around?
ok thanks and sorry im asking so many things but i live near lake norman its about 45 min away and i normally dont fish for anything big cause i must fish from shore (thats why im getting a kayak) but hows the fishing in their?
Hey Drew, so I have a 12' now and like the size, but most of my fishing is on tributaries and reservoirs with the occasional inshore and river trip. I've noticed I need some more speed for the majority of my flat water fishing. My big question is, I know 14' isn't ideal for a river, but it is doable? It's slow moving big river with occasional class II rapids when the water is high. I'd only be doing this a few times a year. Thanks for your help.
The Cuda sure looks like it has a ton of great features for fishing. I would love to have one for fishing saltwater and large lakes. Do you have any idea if they're going to start making them in colors (like yellows/oranges) that are more easily seen by other boaters? Their web site says you have to pay extra and wait a month or so if you want a color they don't already make.
oh well if your ever in the area try "cane creek park" in wahaw nc it my fav fishing place also i noticed in the vid a kayak called the big tuna and looked it up what do you think about it? i rly like the tuna tank on it
I have a trident 13 right now and I love it. The only thing is the fact that I weigh 230. Im not wide just heavy but the trident does feel a bit tight. What do you recommend. Cuda 14 or big tuna? I need you to sell me the Cuda/Tuna because I want something a bit bigger and something I can sight cast from. I fish Ocean 95% of the time and target bull drum/gator blues/fluke/cobia out here in VA.
That paddle (Aquabound Carbon Hybrid Mantaray) is highly underrated. 30oz, 60deg feathering and carbon fiber for less than $140. I think people go a little nuts buying a $200 35oz paddle just because it says "angler" on it.

I am looking for a kayak that will equal the speed and power of the native manta ray all I use my kayak for is running shark baits in the surf! It's time for me to get a new kayak so I am getting a cuda 14 with a rudder, I used on a fe weeks ago on the national seashore it handled well! I am sold 5 footers were nothing to it!
I want to by one, I'm Portuguese but the dealer says that you guys are sending forest camo and black widow colors. The thing is, I want a Urban Camo and I really don't want to buy a color that I don't like. Send Urban camo to Portugal PLEAAASEE! :p
