Every time I listen to Ido Portal, I realise that he is just trying to tap into human consciousness through " movement ", The first step in this realisation is to actually discover your own body and its potential, we so removed from our own bodies, it's just amazing how we as human beings are influenced by society that we don't even take time to explore our own body and I reckon this is the gateway to understanding consciousness!!, more lessons from this guy than other famed spiritual leaders!!! ❤🎉

Today I turn 41 years old and I want to thank you, Lewis, for without knowing me giving me such a great present. For the last couple of days I've been reflecting about my own existence and while exercising this morning I receive the notification about this video and played it. Ido was talking about his experience and help me at a very deep level. Thank you, Lewis for bringing Ido's wisdom into our lives. You guys have a wonderful week.

52:30 "EVERYTHING IS NATURAL!" I've been saying this for a while now... man.... A friend put me onto Ido and this is my first watch...Everything the man says seems so on point. I love his honesty about his own fear, and his take on winning and the idea of "working out". So many great quotes 29:07 " You're moving to death. You're going to lose, you're going to lose everything, even yourself, so how can winning be an orientation to unpack ourselves?"

Wow how courageous of Ido to take a showdown with the Cartesian way of life or how one may call it. To say that it was a mistake to live from the head-up was such a blow to pure intellectualism. People are not machines. Our heart and feelings as well are at least as important.

The story you're telling yourself is how you filter everything that your senses catch 24/7. To change the filter isn't something you become able to do over night. It takes hard and consistent work. But once you get to see results you feel that beautiful sensation of freedom. Mental freedom.

Unloading some hard core Taoism on Mr. Howes! I appreciate Portal's desire to challenge an idea of being, even if it comes off a little heavy in the Ego. Of course that's part of the pursuit, that almost aggressively conscious recognition of perceptual difference between states of being, but I digress. Good interview

What a grounded fellow humanitarian, with core drive to improve peoples embodied movement awareness. Definitely going to comment to the 30 minutes of squats per day, for 30 days. And continue as part of a daily practice. "Grounded advice" Thank you, Lewis, and Ido.
Lewis would like to make a recommendation for another guest. A parallel between Ido and performance artist Marina Abramovic. Marina's art practice tests the limits of the human body and the possibilities of the mind. She invented the Marina Abramovic Institute, to give people back their time. About being present in the here and now.
