    Definately the best track guide i've found. Clear, concise and straight to the point without over explaining things.

    Amazing video,
    Gonna use it for my league race Thursday! Any chance you would make a Monza and Catalynya with the Ferrari and fixed? Those are my next two lol

    for the 20 minute races I think this works really well, but for 40 minute, and especially the 3 hour races this weekend, I think you brake pretty late right? tyres won't be especially happy, even if the wing is pretty high, and this specific lap is super fast

      regardless, nice and detailed guide dude

      @@17peteclarke yes i agree, i think this was my 3rd or 4th lap of the stint and i was going for outright lap time. you’d want to be more conservative in longer races. also the fuel and track conditions can affect the grip levels and how the car behaves so that can also affect the braking points slightly.

    Great time but How the heck are you braking so late. e.g Turn 3 100% brake at 200M board????? That just makes abs scream and over shoot for me. I dont know how you do it

      i braked a bit late, i couldn’t turn in as sharp as i wanted to and had to over slow the car. just a small mistake. brake earlier and try to carry more minimum speed than i do and you should get the same result and it’ll be a lot more consistent.

    My lines look soooo close, but I'm still 5 seconds a lap slower. I think I might be braking too late and giving up exit speed.

      Yes this is a problem with many drivers, it’s amazing that you’ve got the racing lines down, but it’s also important to keep minimum speed up throughout a corner without compromising the exit. Just remember, slow in fast out!

      @@unknowndriver8664 I just don't understand how you have so much grip. I have tried relentlessly to follow your on braking and on throttle points but I just can't get it together. Damn 😀

    • @unknowndriver8664
      @unknowndriver8664  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @harveyspecterd661 It’s important to remember how much the track temps can affect times, the cooler the track temp, the faster the lap. So the braking points in hotter temps will be around 10 to 15 meters earlier, also this lap was done a while ago so the tire model may have been updated since then.

      @@MegatronRacing237 i’ve driven the BMW GTP for fun but never in competitive races. i might be able to do them next season as i need time to learn how the car behaves etc

      looks like it's the default of 49.1 in the Ferrari
