@@RobertLovesGames I honestly love the suppresion and the fact that your cursor will automatically go over the enemy when they are in trenches or other complex terrain. The chances are small but they make such a difference in the strategy you use to take positions. I also feel as though this indirectly buffed smgs and CQB weapons close up way more whilst keeping it fair. Before this you would just get a rifle and could out DPS an enemy SMG user in the same trench as long as you shot first. But now with the suppresion mechanic the SMG user can just keep wildly spraying decreasing your quick fire accuracy whilst he doesnt care as much about is as he is just pumping out as much lead as possible.
ive been wanting to try this game for a while, about to graduate with MBA in 3 weeks so ill have time finally. Would be honored to get a steamkey from a pivotal member of the community.
I remember charging into a trench by myself and someone saw me charging alone, next thing you know I accidentally advanced our team by an inch. Best feeling knowing I did my part.
Nothing feels better than inspiring others. A lot of players (not just in Foxhole) play on auto pilot until told otherwise. Sometimes a simple request for volunteers can lead into a massive charge.
Only Rob can turn a sponsored video about a war game and make it relatable to a story of humanity's need for comradeship and the importance of working together. Don't change Rob you rock! Looking forward to seeing how the new update plays! 🛩️🛩️🤟
@@RobertLovesGamesI bought the game yesterday and love it. I have a fully functional facility with 3 factories pumping out materials, a motorpool and infantry on standby. I've already fought on the frontline and supplied it. This game can be epic but as a solo it sure does require a huge time investment.
Started playing about a week ago and I’m hooked. Everything I’ve wanted out of a massive war game. Scratch’s an itch like no other. People willingness to involve others have been great to. Recently joined the KING regiment and I look forward to joining the dc to see what logi or frontline opp is going on. See yall on the battlefield. LETS GO COLLIES
Glad you can join our glorious community even though we wear opposite colours, I'm a member of WN (Warden Navy) myself. Let's have a baller War 119, LETS GO WARDENS!!
As a fairly active infantry player, the motive for the front is always a whole of whose around, more and more new players seem to miss this point. I usually try to note things out for them to give a sense of teamwork via using the ping system, yelling when and not to push, tactics I would do, etc. But amazing video as always robert, hope to see you on the battlefield!
I had bought this in 2019, felt way overwhelmed so dipped on it until yesterday. Came across some player 'Lapdog' on VC explaining the basics to people on the home island, before you know it, we were Zerg rushing towards Iron Junction and have been fighting there since. Later that day, he popped by again and deposited another 30 noobs to the trenches! Love seeing how the front changes between play sessions, super unique moments for sure!
I had trouble really getting into foxhole for a long time. I started again recently and decided to help dig trenches/repair stuff on the frontline...I get it now. I don't know why but it's so fun fixing tanks or advancing the trench line so the team can hold more ground
That's great to hear! I feel like when you play a ton of different roles the game gets even better and you find what you enjoy doing the most as well. Thanks for sharing that!
I just played for the first time, joined wardens had no idea where to deploy, but joined a hot spot in the front lines. It was a lot of back and forth, dying, having to resupply, and seeing how slow the advancements from both teams are. One point the enemy is pushing us back hard, the next we counterattack and push them back further. It will take time for me to get used to how slow advancements can be, but it seems really fun. Its been hours, but I wonder if my team has finally gotten past that bridge haha.
It would be aloooot faster if people in the front or playerbase in general played just a little more efficent New players just chew through shirts and equipment like no tomorrow build up, play logi
I bought this game 2 hours before this video came out. And when it was published I was still on my tour with my guide in logi. I am gonna have so much fun. GIVE SOMEONE ELSE THAT DAMN RIFLE!!
I like games where you’re just another soldier. I also played a ton of battlefield 5 as a medic and always felt like I was doing something important saving people. You my good sir have sold me on this game.
That's awesome to hear! You would make a great medic it sounds like in Foxhole. Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions or need help learning anything!
Tips for front line play? Frag trenches and fighting holes if unsure, better safe than sorry. Make sure you dont overstock on gear, ie ammo, weapons, explosives, since you might not make it that far, unless you know for sure or are that confident. Never be afraid to change to a loot Goblin, and start running everything you can back to the garrison, especially weapons and explosives, medical kits etc. Thats all resources that dont have to get expended.😊
As a logi main, i do what i do because of the infantry. Each box of supplies gives the troops that much more chance to do their job and enjoy the game that much longer. Theres nothing like dropping off half a truck of mammons to a bunker and hearing the cheers. Give me a rifle! #FoxholeInfintryUpdate
Facility guy here, love your vids. They really make me want to leave my grind but I just never do haha about to break 9 mill supply value delivered this war! Go collies!!
I thought so as well! I mean I already love Foxhole and am happy to make videos about the game. But the fact that they would sponsor one of my videos is just amazing.
I literally just bought the game, joined the colonials and had someone help me out immediately. After some quick (and not really helpful) tutorials I jumped into the frontline as a medic and had a fun time. Also ran some equipment back to the near base but I did help push the line a little bit against the evil wardens!
Nice! There are lots of different roles to play in Foxhole. I always tell players to try out as many as you can so you can find the ones you like :D Thanks for sharing that!
"Give me a rifle! #FoxholeInfantryUpdate" Wanted to thank you. I had one of your videos recommended to me and I was hooked after that! Always saw foxhole advertised on my steam home page but wasn't sure.. now I am!!!
Theres nothing like screaming "CHARRRGE" into the mic and hear several others echo back as a half dozen, then dozen players join in as they are inspired. Its not like being the main charachter in a movie, its like being "that one guy" during a scene.
I finally broke down and bought the game while it was on sale and it is a really big learning curve to most games it was still worth the purchase, thanks to these videos it helped me to make my decision, Colonials all the way!!!
Delaying actions, sneaking past defenses, and annoying flank strikes have always been what I felt I could do well with meager resources. Occasionally, like at the start of Charlie this war, an entire opp will blossom form the combined actions of ten people delaying and denying the enemy.
While you are not *The Hero* in Foxhole you can certainly be _Heroic:_ A lone soldier fighting against overwhelming odds to hold the line, a Medic running towards gunfire to retrieve a wounded comrade, the Engineers building and repairing fortifications under artillery fire, Logistics pouring their time, effort and sweat to get everyone the tools they need for the fight... The cardinal rule of Foxhole is - or should be - ABH, Always Be Helping. Every thing you do to help your comrades-in-arms means you are doing your part. It's also important to "find your own fun", meaning that try different things, even stupid things, so that you learn and improve your own understanding of what makes the game fun for you. One of my favorite things to do is just drive around and look for Wreckage nodes with binoculars, then head back and make as much public equipment as possible with the Refined Materials. Several public MPF queues and armored vehicles over time will make a difference, somewhere, *and my reward is knowing I made a difference.*
Your comment about burnout and the most important thing in the game is fun is seriously important! I tell people this all the time do what will keep you from burning out.
Thanks for introducing me to this game, owned it for a couple of years and was worried about the community so didn't touch it! For newbies everyone has been awesome and its tons of fun. I hope you all get the rifles you deserve :D
I couldn’t be a patient gamer, and I bought the game despite swearing I’d wait for a sale during the last week of war 117. What a ride it’s been! I 100% agree with your sentiment that playing in one “lane” really enhances your relation with the war and the game as a whole. I’ve been playing as Warden this war and the juxtaposition of day 1 front line logi on the Faranac Coast, to day 2 medic gameplay defending a bridge I drove across numerous times the day before as colonials bum rushed us well behind our previous lines was so exciting and sobering, knowing I had previously considered that area safe and secure! Can’t thank you enough for the effect you’ve had on this community, as well as drawing new players, myself included, into this unique experience.
I feel like if Foxhole were ever adapted into a feature-length movie it would be more of a comedy, some of the funniest things happen on their own in the frontline and in partisan operations. Also, congrats on getting sponsored!
This is the first time in a game i feel like what i do actually matters even though I'm just a small "cog in the machine". For example, we were all attacking a trench line that was well defended, and the pillboxes were ripping us apart as we kept getting closer. I was annoyed that we had no tank support to help with the pillboxes, or anyone using mammon grenades, then i realized, i can be that guy. I asked for volunteers, and eventually got a few guys to come with me, grab mammons, and attack the pillboxes one by one while the guys on the machine guns suppressed the pillboxes for us to get close and attack. more people started to join with mamons and machine guns. It was working, and we kept doing the same thing over and over again. Eventually we were able to break through enough that everyone managed to make a big attack on the right flank. Eventually i had to go, but when i rejoined the game and same area the next day, i saw that the whole front was ours, and that our guys were the ones building defenses on the same positions that were ripping us apart just yesterday. It felt amazing knowing that i had a part to play in the attack to grab the front just the day prior.
I had the exact same feeling! I can't really go back to solo player games because I don't feel like I'm "contributing" to anything. And that's a great story and always a cool feeling to have when you log on the next day! Thanks for sharing that!
Foxhole is an interesting and intriguing game as an idea and very entertaining and fascinating to watch and keep up with what's happening as an outside viewer. But from the videos I've been seeing such as this one, its more clear now that this game isn't for me due to my mindset and personal philosophy which would leave me feeling both frustrated and useless. Even if I know I'm not, if I'm now around, nothing will change in the outcome still. Would still watch Foxhole videos though and keep up with the wars. Been doing so since War 105.
I get that. I treat Eve kind of like that. I don't think I would like to play Eve but I love watching videos about it. And anyone in Foxhole can make a difference in the war. You may not see your impact right away or directly but as long as you are doing something to contribute to your faction then you are helping in some way. This is a hard concept for new players to understand.
“Give me a rifle! #FoxholeInfantryUpdate” Jeez, I watched so many videos of your about this game. I am so hyped to give it a try alone or with my friends
I helped around the Bridge at Loch Mor for a while, really fun being a grenadier, while I don’t know if I scored anything major, felt good to just be there, yell for a medic, or just run for your life when a grenade gets thrown.
I just played my first couple of hours in Leigeharth on the Warden side. November 20th-21st was spent in hectic trench warfare and then city defence, more experienced players had us line up for "Mammon charges" in which we went forward and decimated entire lines of infantry (our own and theirs) with panic and sheer stupidity. We lost some minor ground but held the Southern half of the city at the expense of many 12.7mm turrets. I found myself running round trip logi runs feeding the Zealot Ac Group with ammunition and the medics with bandages and plasma, picking up rounds for the mortar in the center of town which was fundamental in holding ground and then returning across the bridge to refill on supplies. When things got dire I ended up taking over the mortar myself and confirmed kills on 3 trucks 3 armored cars and one push gun, as well as countless Collie kills. In actual combat however I found little success, dying many times in trench runs and killing maybe one third that amount, save for one point in which I climbed on a smokestack building and used A Clancy Cinder to kill 4 Colonialists trying to swim across the river dock area to flank us. All in all I had a lot of fun but I fear the coming days will not advance much well without intervention as the Collies have dug in pretty obnoxiously in front of the openings of Leigeharth.
"Give me a rifle! #FoxholeInfrantryUpdate" I don't find my previous comment but I want to say that I seen your videos and they maked me to get closer to foxhole, more than a month earlier I didn't know it existed. So, thank you!
Good thing you didn't specify what kind of shoe. Can make an edible one out of bread or something. And to prove it's still counts as a shoe, you have to wear it before eating.
I play what I feel is a role that isn't mentioned enough, clearing the field and returning supplies and guns to the back of the front for naked spawns, and piling medic supplies for the medics
Its always interesting watching a bunch of random players finnaly start to click and push a front. Tunnel vision is the biggest killer in this game specially at night watch your flanks always
"Give me a rifle!" I have had my eyes in this game for a long time. Maybe it is time for me to become another brother in arms at the Frontline. #FoxholeIfantryUpdate
I was playing during day 2 of the update war and omg the team play with mobile infantry is so much fun when everyone works together. We stole like 5 push guns and ended up countering a push in 5hrs. Game is so worth it.
My friends are diehard foxhole players and have been trying to convince me to play for months now, I think this review is pushing me over the edge to join them
If you're new to the game and want to learn logistics and wanna be really useful, focus primarily on crafting explosives like bomas and mammons. Bmats, rifles, ammo and shirts are all helpful but most fronts are likely full of those already and all they do is continue the fight. What can really help with a push is grenades and other explosives that can damage structures.
Listen as a colonialist on the c server. Only because the main server is full and the c server isn't. I think we prefer that you call us furries and not stinky goblins.
I do feel like the main character a lot of the times. Especially when a squad of me and the boys go deep behind enemy lines to fuck up logi. Even if we manage to stop just a few trucks its very satisfying.
You for sure can have a lot of moments in this game where you feel like the main character. I should have mentioned that piece of it. Because there some memories you will just never forget. Thanks for sharing that!
In this, my first war, I found a love for digging passages to the vulnerabilities of the enemy. Even if I can't do any good damage, I can bother them! However, I think the further it goes, the less it will be, because of technology.
Just started playing thanks to you. Having lots of fun playing a scavenger medic type. Been around Linn of Mercy. Go Colonials! Ps whoever those partisans were last night kicked our asses lmao
Or walk grenades from the bunker base to the broken bridge. I can't believe how effective that was. After everyone picked up a grenade, the line moved forward.
Ive watched your videos a lot recently. I just wish this type of gme was on consoles. Id love an open war type of game on the console. Thanks for the vids, always enjoyable.
I had the same frustrations of "why I keep getting killed" when I started. But since then I've been an on and off medic on numerous bridge battles. The game for real is just people trying to keep eachother alive
Imagine such a great life lesson. I been on the fence with this game but I'm a get it today while on sale. Stalker 2 i hear needs some patches or a major update so that may have to wait.
I bought the game today, played for 3 hours, went to the frontline after getting taught some stuff by one guy, shot some enemies after dying a few times, found an abandoned armored car on the front, grabbed it, got someone to be the driver, got shot, repaired it, found another driver, went to restock and then pushed the wardens back for a while. Very fun but complex lol
"Give me a rifle!" I have looked into this game recently & I love it. The teamwork required to move the front is such a great way to make sure everyone can play a part. I also would love to be one of the first pilots flying alongside my fellow airmen, doing what I can to move the front. #FoxholeIfantryUpdate
2:40 I kinda agree and disagree as well, for a single war I only went to deadlands and help build at least a good 50% of the main bunker on the front, but it was really, I made a lot of friends there, but then I lost everything and didn't play for several wars because of how salty I was. XD
I like to think about said expression not in a way that you are not important, but like that everyone is equally important. Take any cog from the mechanic watch and i guarantee they won't last a minute. And same with a front
Holdfast:Nations at War I have to mention that the shown gameplay is not the main gamemodi, just an add-on to the existing gane. I've got around 1k hours in Holdfast, it's worth a try!

Glory to the Warden
Real
Why do wardens smell so bad?
@@loafofbread9400because we are covered in collie blood
@@loafofbread9400cause they eat babies
@@krasmazov8 wardens on a blue moon have a higher kill count, you guys probably bathe in each others blood + eat babies
As for the shoe, I would recommend to go to a bakery and let them make a boot shaped cake for you, enjoy!
I might just have to do that! :D I don't want to put something harmful into my body!
"Give me a rifle!" i was playing only for 2 day and i saw the horrors of the war... and I LIKE IT #FoxholeIfantryUpdate
Foxhole is ON SALE for 18$
Foxhole is amazing, can't wait for airplanes!!!
Agreed! And I am super hyped as well for airplanes!
"Give me a rifle, then the next, then the next---god do I love logi! #FoxholeInfrantryUpdate"
Some of my best memories in game are a) routing the enemy with our armor column and b) last stand defense under massive artillery barrage.
“Give me a rifle! #FoxholeInfantryUpdate”
Jeez, I watched so many videos of your about this game. I am so hyped to give it a try alone or with my friends
“Give me a rifle! #Foxholeinfantry update”
Must admit, I don’t usually comment but getting the chance to play this game sounds amazzzzing!
Bought this game today because of your videos, having a lot of fun :)
"even losing can be fun" Yeahhhh, a "spend all supplies before theyre taken!" battle is always fun lol
"Give someone else a rifle! I want more people playing this game!" #FoxholeInfantryUpdate
Sorry giveaway is over! I will do more in the future :D
I helped around the Bridge at Loch Mor for a while, really fun being a grenadier, while I don’t know if I scored anything major, felt good to just be there, yell for a medic, or just run for your life when a grenade gets thrown.
Just bought the game, super excited to play later.
Nice! Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions or need help learning anything!
@@RobertLovesGames will do!

I don't find my previous comment but I want to say that I seen your videos and they maked me to get closer to foxhole, more than a month earlier I didn't know it existed. So, thank you!
That’s awesome to hear! And yea I think TH-cam thinks this is spam. Good to know for next time.
"Give me a rifle! #FoxholeInfrantryUpdate"
PS: Great video. You perfectly summarize the essence of the game. Good effort!
Good thing you didn't specify what kind of shoe. Can make an edible one out of bread or something. And to prove it's still counts as a shoe, you have to wear it before eating.
lol true! I'm thinking maybe beef jerky :D And yes I will make sure I can wear it ha
nice to see your video on the main screen in foxhole bro. nice
Really appreciate the devs doing that and sponsoring this video! Glad they give back to the content creator community :D
I play what I feel is a role that isn't mentioned enough, clearing the field and returning supplies and guns to the back of the front for naked spawns, and piling medic supplies for the medics
Bicycle vs truck is amazing
Bicycle strong!
Its always interesting watching a bunch of random players finnaly start to click and push a front. Tunnel vision is the biggest killer in this game specially at night watch your flanks always

My brother needs the rifle rlly bad
The game is so fun.
Wardens go, get em stinky goblins
Listen as a colonialist on the c server. Only because the main server is full and the c server isn't. I think we prefer that you call us furries and not stinky goblins.
I do feel like the main character a lot of the times. Especially when a squad of me and the boys go deep behind enemy lines to fuck up logi. Even if we manage to stop just a few trucks its very satisfying.
You for sure can have a lot of moments in this game where you feel like the main character. I should have mentioned that piece of it. Because there some memories you will just never forget. Thanks for sharing that!
This game is in my wishlist for a long time.
Nice! It's having one of its best sales right now on steam. I don't think it will go any lower than this.
@@RobertLovesGames I am also trying to leave a comment for a giveaway, but it disappeared at least 4 times at this point.
In this, my first war, I found a love for digging passages to the vulnerabilities of the enemy. Even if I can't do any good damage, I can bother them! However, I think the further it goes, the less it will be, because of technology.
It always come down to the infantry man and his rifle.
The one that moves us forward!
Just started playing thanks to you. Having lots of fun playing a scavenger medic type. Been around Linn of Mercy. Go Colonials!
Ps whoever those partisans were last night kicked our asses lmao
Finally got Foxhole! So excited to get started!
Maybe some day another developer will make a game like it for consoles! And thanks for your support! o7
I had the same frustrations of "why I keep getting killed" when I started. But since then I've been an on and off medic on numerous bridge battles. The game for real is just people trying to keep eachother alive
"Give me rifles and i will give you an army"
A quot your video reminded me .
Imagine such a great life lesson. I been on the fence with this game but I'm a get it today while on sale. Stalker 2 i hear needs some patches or a major update so that may have to wait.
Nice! That's great to hear! Feel free to DM me on discord if you have any questions or need help learning anything!
im waiting for Anvil Empires as i love medieval times but your videos from foxhole are interesting to watch
Nice! Anvil should be a good one! And Foxhole is starting to incorporate some Anvil stuff into as well like the melee weapons!
"Give me a rifle! #FoxholeInfrantryUpdate" I really wanna try to be a medic in this game
never even played foxhole, why are your videos so interesting lol
Ha! Same way I feel about Eve videos maybe? I watch a ton of Eve videos but don't play it lol
Perfect Game for Roleplay
It really is!
"Give me a rifle!" I have looked into this game recently & I love it. The teamwork required to move the front is such a great way to make sure everyone can play a part. I also would love to be one of the first pilots flying alongside my fellow airmen, doing what I can to move the front. #FoxholeIfantryUpdate
you spelled "infantry" wrong, mate. That might scew up the search later
This update disrespected the bayonet... they disrespected ME!
It really did! As someone who hates getting bayoed on the front I like this change :D
"Give me a rifle! #FoxholelnfantryUpdate"
This looks like an amazing game! Thankyou for introducing it to me!
7:48 Pudsy moment.
For real! He DM'd me to give me some tips on what kind of shoe to eat :D
2:40 I kinda agree and disagree as well, for a single war I only went to deadlands and help build at least a good 50% of the main bunker on the front, but it was really, I made a lot of friends there, but then I lost everything and didn't play for several wars because of how salty I was. XD
Well, you did it Robert, i caved and got the game, i'll see you deep in the backlines once i'm done moving. o7
Been running frontline logi, it is weridly claming to drive around and help out my teammates, great first hour
I love doing frontline logi! I probably do frontline logi like my first 200 hours of playing! Thanks for sharing that!
@@RobertLovesGames Logi is almost addicting...
"Give me a rifle! #FoxholeIfantryUpdate" for The Emperor!!
I swear I keep refreshing youtube all day long for the giveaway announcement😅
I like to think about said expression not in a way that you are not important, but like that everyone is equally important. Take any cog from the mechanic watch and i guarantee they won't last a minute. And same with a front
Also glory to the infantry, always found this part of the game much more enjoyable than tank or naval battles
0:39 guys what is this game called?
Holdfast:Nations at War
I have to mention that the shown gameplay is not the main gamemodi, just an add-on to the existing gane. I've got around 1k hours in Holdfast, it's worth a try!
That's good to know! I will try and give it a go some day :D Thanks for sharing that!
Great timing, I wanted to buy this game today:)
I want this game!!! It looks so cool
