LEGO is the largest toy company in the world, but it's still prone to making mistakes and errors during its set production process. From incorrect LEGO instructions to errors on the set box art and product images, there are a lot of little details that are sometimes overlooked. I can't believe that Hidden Side ended nearly three years ago. It was a good theme, shame it ended so quickly.
I didn’t hate it, I just didn’t care about it tbh
I have a fun memory with Hidden Side. A while back, I visited a Lego office. It was super cool, the guys there were really nice, and they actually gifted me the Hidden Side Juice Bar set near the end of the tour, before it was available in stores & online. Hidden side really deserved to stay around, the haunted high school set is one of my favourites.

I loved lego hidden side like crazy. It was definitely an underrated theme. I don't understand why it was hated so much.

Heard one thing that said that it was parents that didn't like it, not the children. It was the whole gimmick of using phones when lego was supposed to be a way for kids to play without phones. Also probably something about the front of the boxes not having set pictures on them

If you're held captive in a cage on a tropical island by some guy with a bone in his hair, having a shave is about all you can do to relieve the boredom.
I think the glitched printing on the mini figures is caused by their print designs somehow being bigger than they should be. Some of what we are seeing on the storm trooper’s torso looks the like what’s in the bottom left corner just above his belt. It’s just bigger.

I wonder if there are any lost lego sets. Like sets that no one has anymore, or even serial numbers whose photos have not been preserved.

In the old pirate line instructions, pretty much every tricorn hat is way too big. For example the one of Saber Island!
The stormtrooper error in the star destroyed kind of looks like it could be a Zane torso from Ninjago

I used to have that small pirate set and remember something was off with the manual’s picture. So the mustache was missing all along😎
It is heartwarming that Lego is still mainly people and mistakes happen.
Although in 2007 when the Hoth Rebel Base 7666 was released, LEGO only had made clone shock troopers so far, but there were also imperial shock troopers in the era of the Empire. Like the one in the 2016 set 75134.
In the LEGO 60379 City set, when you build the submarine you are asked to have both a left and right wedge plate supported just by 2 studs hanging onto the aircraft fuselage top piece. LEGO designers apparently did not properly secure the wedges to the subassembly, so I ended up spending a good 20 minutes looking through my plates collection and made something a lot sturdier for this build. If I had left the wedges hanging on as the LEGO instructions showed, they could have caved in on the underneath side. The designers can't fix every mistake, and this would probably have been difficult for them to spot. Add to this that the fuselage piece has a section where no studs or bricks can go, and it made for a challenging fix to create.
5:50 No, that’s… Just completely wrong. CLONE shock troopers weren’t around anymore, no, but there were still shock troopers, wearing the standard trooper armour of the time with red highlights, just like they did during the clone wars.

Harry Potter’s dementors change hand color on the set’s boxes ( black, light grey or dark grey) when the minifigures’ hands are light grey
While you can't see it, not only did he shave his mustache, but that head also has an eyepatch!
I’d honestly love to see some of these misprints become actual figures in some kind of weird bootleg special edition collection thing. They could take some of the more popular sets and make them look goofy and janky (like a hulkbuster mech with really skinny legs or noodle arms along with the crimson red iron man)
I recently rebuilded 71766, llyod's legendary dragon and on step 200 it looks like someone got ahead of themselves and put a piece on early but took it off in the next step.
I know a problem with clone wars sets on the boxes! The laser fire art is not blue, it's red.
For the Echo Minifigure, Why couldnt they just bring back the robo-claw arm/hand that they used to use in the Lego Agents Sets?
I remember seeing an image someone else posted of a Clone Trooper with the printing all on the BACK of the helmet, not the front like it's supposed to be.

Dude you can dye leather armor however you like. It doesn't have to be a specific shade of green.
i have that Bad Batch set. what i did was take an extra lever handle i had in my collection and glue it inside the wrist hole
I found a printing error in the instructions for the Arctic explorer ship
It tells you to open bag 7 when you are supposed to open bag 8
Leather armor actually can be dyed to a more precise color. It has to do with weird dye mechanics. I don’t know if it’s exclusive to bedrock though.

You can mix dyes to basically make any color for leather armor, though. That's absolutely a possible color
One that u missed was on the x wing (2021) box art :leia has a regular scoped blater but in the instructions she has a silver e-11 and on the box general doodana has the silver blaster and in the instructions he has a scoped blatser

One of LEGO's biggest minifigure fails was with the UCS Republic Gunship pilot. I mean, really? Just a generic yellow clone trooper? The excuse they gave was even worse. "People who saw the movie just saw a yellow pilot." Sorry, people who buy Star Wars UCS sets are the kind of people who can tell you the pilot's name and unit.

Thing is emerald armor makes no sense to have in Minecraft. We have netherite armor which is arguably better and easier to get as you only need 4 netherite ingots to upgrade your diamond armor.
Are we not going to talk about how the stormtroopers in the star destroyer is standing on half a stud?

The resource pack LEGO Minecraft uses just removes the brown parts of dyed leather armor. Steve's wearing leather because of the powdered snow, which he would normally sink into and freeze to death. Leather is also the most customizable armor in the game with thousands of color combinations. You only need the boots though, as they allow you to walk on and climb through powdered snow while keeping you warm, and they're the cheapest part.

100% the K-3P0 used a shock trooper torso while the actual torso wasn't ready yet. It was likely a placeholder to be replaced later.
I actually have an error in a lego catalog, the error is that a blue lego city race car is printed twice so theres an extra set of wheels and it just looks weird, i think it was in 2021 or 2022, i still have it
The Lego Movie 2 Shimmer and Sparkle Spa sets had bricks already placed before the next page told me to place them there.
I think that the real error in the astronomy tower set images is that the Draco mini figure doesn’t even come with a wand, I literally put this set together two days ago and I remember that because I thought it was strange
For Lego Star Wars The Clone Wars Armored Assault Tank Set 8018 the b1 battle droid is shown with its torso backwards in one image
The OG Harry Potter Hogwarts castle set 4709 has a piece that flips direction on step 18. My wife caught this error when we were building it together.

I got that Ninjago set as a kid, and I noticed they got the wrong name for the snake

2:24 But I realized that in Minecraft, at least in Bedrock Edition you can mix and match different colors to make new colors for leather armor, and that's why I think Steve here just mixed white and lime green dyes...
That lego steve might be using bedrock edition with a cutsom died leather armor, but yeah that' have the mohawck and pads.
I had that crocodile cage set. Should still have all the parts swimming among others.
There is a mistake on the instructions of set 9491. On page 36, you can see a normal size dark blue cape but the one included is short.

Another mistake is the clone wars Anakin and Clone trooper swapped heads in the Lego Nintendo ds accessory packs they came in

One more error I always remember is in the 2011 Imperial V-Wing the booklet shows an Imperial Officer torso instead of the V-Wing Pilot torso and it always bugged me
The worst type of lego step is the Perseverance NASA Rover where in the first section you have to put in a white peg-black connector-white peg into a 9-dot bar, four times.
The normal Stormtrooper minifigure at 6:57 looks like it has a mistake of its own: it's misaligned and its left foot is clipping into one of the studs
2:13 Hold up, Mojang added a feature were you change the shade of the dyed leather armor. So it might not be the emerald armor.

In set number 76915 "Pagani Utopia", I found a couple errors, or what I believe are errors. In the instructions, it appears that each time there's a section to be built separately, the box showing it has a very faded image of the section. Examples on page 23, 57 and 62. Also in the instructions, on page 29, step 32, the printed 2x2 round tile is placed sideways. The print design has edges on one side of the four exhaust pipes, as well as on the side of the circle around them to show them at an angle, but on the actual Pagani Utopia, the pipes are angled up slightly, meaning that the edges should be on the lower sides. It's also on upside down on the official images showing the back of the model, except for one, and on the back of the box.
R2 in the Star Wars Trash Compactor set is shown in the instructions as the old version without the print on his back
3:09 maybe im late but lego set 75301 makes a similar mistake switching the blasters between Leia and General Dodonna multiple times in the promotional images in the Lego website, in the box and in the instructions
also on the new jurassic world Indominous rex escape they accidentally swapped the names of zack and grey, zack is meant to be the figure with normal legs and grey has the mini legs I got very fumed when I saw the box
The error is on the Lego computer system when you do bag13 but bag14 is not there on the instructions
The 3x3 dishes also appear in the imiges for the GWP Taxi wich will be released with the upcoming avengers tower.

I remember getting a lego set of ninjago dragon rising the dragon hunting hound set and there was supposed to be Jay in bag 1(said in physical instruction booklet) but Lloyd was in bag 1 and Jay was in bag 2. Does this count as a error?
