Trey Smith should most definitely be put #1 on free agency additions, with him the right side of the line will be solidified for hopefully many years into the future
I’d give Trey Smith a boatload of money ($20m) and poach Zietler from Detroit ($10m). That gives you 2 premium guards, with Bates and Pryor as backups. Trade down from 10 to around 17 and get an additional 2nd round pick and take Josh Simmons LT from Ohio State. He’s coming off a knee injury and you have him behind Braxton until he’s ready. Use the three Second round picks for the best center available, an edge, and a DT. The third round is a big RB. Resign Shelton for backup center. Alternative is to sign the Falcons center (Dalman) instead of the Detroit guard and draft the guard in round 2 since the center draft is thin. That gives you Wright, Smith, Dalman, 2nd rounder and Braxton to start. amagadjie, Pryor, Shelton, Bates, and Simmons as backups.
Noway we keeping Bates and Shelton as backups and we drafting a RB in 1st or 2nd round Ashton Jeanty or Omarion Hampton, I don't see them drafting a injured lineman in the first round noway
@tomford3 you don't draft a rb at 10 when you have a deep draft at that position and even more so have more pressing trench needs like DT & LT that would be foolish
Sign Trey Smith(But depending on is he good in pass protection?). Draft the best available LT in the draft at 10. Draft Tyler Booker or Donovan Jackson in the 2nd round. Take the best center in the draft available with the 3rd pick in the draft. Sign Khalil Mack to a 1-2 year deal
THANK YOU. AND THATS WHY I SAID THEY SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH PETE CAROLL. HE MARKS EVERY SINGLE BOX WITHOUT THE " IFS" YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR GETTING. I DONT CARE ABOUT THE AGE, I WOULD CARE MORE ABOUT THE HEALTH
If he's there then yes. Outside of Smith I wouldn't splurge in free agency. Outside of Trey Smith this is one of the worst free agent classes I've seen in a long time.
🗣️Hell No on Drew Dalman!!! I am a Bears fan that lives in ATL. Bears are better off keeping Shelton and upgrading the guards around him and a good OL coach

Thanks for the show Haize! Thanks for BigKev holding it down yesterday [my comment on that video was ghosted]. Thanks to the Callers...

Haven't we learned our lesson drafting injured linemen?

I thought they were gonna make the playoffs year one of Caleb and I feel the same way about year one under Ben
address o-line in free agency and then draft ashton jeanty at 10. we need our version of jahmyr gibbs.

Ashton Jenty at 10 till it’s backwards 💯💯
Caleb traded picks for sacks. Which is fine. But sacks are a drive killer and he would just not throw the ball away to live to see another down
Smith is the better player but the Center Dahlman should be the #1 target. He's only 26 and doesn't get steamrolled on a regular basis.
Jim Finks is way better than Ryan Poles and you are depending on too many ifs when it comes to Ryan Poles

We gonna do this every year??? You judged on your record. Ryan Poles, Caleb Williams and everybody else should be judged on that. Results

There’s a few names they need to get in FA tho it’s probably not the worse but yea it’s not the best

Oh were doing this again? Were gonna predict how many yards Caleb Williams will throw for in 2025. Geez, we just dont learn.
