- Tom Brady’s Buccaneers debut didn’t go as well as the 43-year-old quarterback would have liked. Brady had 2 touchdowns and nearly 250 passing yards, but he also had a pair of costly interceptions that included a pick-6 in the 3rd quarter. Brady did rush for the game’s first touchdown but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would still lose 34 to 23 to the New Orleans Saints. What are your thoughts on the Buccaneers' Week 1 loss against the Saints?
Bad and sloppy game for Brady but he made some good throws. Bucs are overrated but they will be good.
New team without any preseason or OTAs I doubted he would do great. I’m a ravens fan and I was kinda like okay he looking sloppy but I will wait till week 5 to make my final statement on him.
For me this was expected. Brady would look rusty, but he is not. Think about it you were on a team for 20 years and all of a sudden you are on a brand new team with brand new players and that takes some getting used to, ESPECIALLY WITH NO TRAINING CAMP OR PRESEASON. Because of this I expect the bucs to be the 5th seed in the NFC at 11-5. It will take a couple of weeks for this team to get the chemistry going as well but once they do.....🔥🔥🔥. And another thing, I saw some good stuff from the bucs defense but they are undisciplined, way too many flags, although a lot needs to be changed and they lost, NEVER COUNT OUT BRADY

Brady played vs a 13 win team who was the 3 seed and the qb was drew brees. Not to mention the saints defense is much better than the dolphins. The dolphins are REBUILDING. the saints are not. Brady has had no preseason with these players with a brand new coach and entirely different scheme and roster than in the last 20 years. They dont know what they're good at and bad at yet.
Cam played against a much worse team that had little chances of scoring. Brady played vs a great team with a great chance of scoring. The bucs will be fine. Probably an 11 win team.
As for the argument that he sucked last year he had no one to throw to last year. The o line was hurt and they had no tight ends. The only receiver they had was Edelman.
Not to mention the defense held miami to 11 points in this win whereas when Brady played his defense let up 27. The first time they played miami the patriots won 40-0 when they had weapons on offense.
